Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I recently formatted my computer and installed all the necessary drivers and such. It's just basic stuff as I'm no computer expert. However, when I got to the Device Manager to see if anything was missing,...

The "default" video-driver in Windows gives "basic" support, e.g., 800-by-600 at 256 colours.
Get a better device-driver, for higher resolutions, and 32-bit colours.

Is the computer's video-adapter "integrated" into the motherboard,
or is it a separate add-in video-card?

If the former, access the motherboard manufacturer's web-site, and search for a device-driver.

If the latter, access the web-site of the manufacturer of the video-card, and download a device-driver.

Install it.

Video (VGA) Driver Missing

You'll need to go to toshiba's website and go to their support section. They will want the model as well as the product number (a longer one, usually two section separated by a '-' )

Otherwise if you can post that product number then I can find the proper driver for you :)

Where to get vga controller driver and sound card driver.

If you have Vista the updfates will find it automatically.

If not there is universal multimedia controller and the realteck sound drivers are pretty universal so try them to resolve sound.

I assume you went intro device manager, right clicked on the unknown device and updated drivers automatically using the internet. If not try that 1st
