The main fuse in the microwave oven has blown and is often caused by a defective door switch.

I have a 2000 23ft comfort travel trailer, it is pluged into electrical, all lights work, but I do not get any power from outlet plugs. I checked breakers & fuses, no outlets work.

On my trailer the gfci is a seperate button in the fuse panel that shuts down the 120v outlets, all the lights run off the 12v so they continue to work, does your microwave and ac work?

I have a GE Spacemaker microvave oven that was working perfectly for the past 4 years. When installed, we were told that the outlet did not work, so to get the microwave working, the cord was pulled out...

Perhaps the microwave's main supply fuse has blown.Open the cover & check it in the power supply section.Be careful & discharge the big capacitor first as there is very very high voltage present inside even after switching off.

I was cooking food for 1 minute and it just shut off after approx. 30 sec. There are no lights or power now. The outlet is fine. The unit is 4 yrs old.

Check your other appliance. You may have tripped a break. If they are all functioning, and you have no dead outlets in your kitchen, then the unit will need to be serviced. Hope it's the breaker.
a 1200w microware will draw 10 amps all by itself. Your outlets are most likely on 15 amp breakers, so it wouldn't take much amp draw from another kitchen appliance to trip the breaker.

Hi I'm thinking of getting an OTR mictowave and was wondering if I have to install an outlet in the cabinets or can I just place it where the existing wires for the hood fan are. This location would be...

The outlet needs to be in the cabinet above. The microwave needs a dedicated circuit. Turn the power off to the hood and see if any lights or outlets go off on the same curcuit. If only the hood is on that line your good to go with that wire if it meets requirments. Our code asks for 15 amp breaker and 12/2 grounded wire. If it meets your local requirments, just take it up inside the wall to your new outlet location(usually there is enough wire to reach) and install a box, outlet and cover.

Blowing 25 amp fuses

In that case the outlet your using is pushing out too much electricity. Try calling your local electric company for help or a professional electric repair man.

Problem with electrical source

Does your manuel also tell you to use a DEDICATED 20amp circuit to plug your Microwave in to? More that likely you used a 15 amp circuit that other appliances were also plugged into. A refrigerator or other cooling item needs its own 15 amp circuit but can tolerate small amp draw items like a clock. The new, higher wattage microwaves need a 20 amp circuit for itself. Have your line checked , have your microwave fixed. Start new
