Check the water hoses first to make sure they are tight, check both ends of both hoses. if they are loose you can usually tighten them up and stop the water from leaking and may not have to pull it out. Although you might have to pull it out a little to get to the hoses. Also you didnt state if the machine leaks when it is operated or all of the time.

On this type of washer, you have to push it in to engage the dial and rotate it slightly clockwise then pull it out to start filling.

I would check all the screw's to make certain they are tight. That was my problem when mine was making noise. Look on the interior of the drum.

Kenmore 80 series

Look inside the pump. Smething might be in it. If you incorrectly installed the couplings too tight against the tranny or motor then the resulting bind will cause the problem.

My Kenmore 80 series topload machine is leaking water

This machine has a direct drive pump, in all likelyhood the pump is leaking...unplug machine...pull it out...tip machine on its back so you can access the bottom, if it is the pump there should be water around where the pump connects to the motor, if it is the pump it is a simple process of releasing 2 clips and taking the inlet and outlet pipes off the pump..install new pump the way you took old one off. you can obtain the part from www.repairclinic.com If you would like to give me more details on your dryer i may be able to work out what is wrong with it.
