try to visit the website of acer and search for the model acer aspire series.. look for 5100.. there you can download the support drivers for all your devices attached on your pc..

Did you check the AMD site for compatibility? If they are, you could have a bad chip, it could have been mishandled or inserted incorrectly. Visual inspection first for burns, contaminated or bent conductors. Static discharge will kill cpus.
