There seems to be no definitive answer for this but there are 2 ways that I see people have had success.
1) Email support@fixya.com and request removal of your account. Be sure to include your Nickname and email address associated with your account and request removal.
2) Do the same thing through their Contact page found here: http://www.fixya.com/contact
Otherwise, I do not see any standardized way to unregister/remove yourself from Fixya.
Hope this helps!

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

How does the call barring work and its asking for a pin number can you help thanks clare

Welcome to FixYa!
Call barring is a network provider feature. You have to contact your network service provider for the pin code.
Most of the codes given below follow this pattern. With enough use, you will learn to know what each means: * activate ** register and activate *# check status # unregister ## unregister and deactivate
Alternatively, depending on the kind of phone, you can access this feature in the phone settings menu.
Thank you for using FixYa. Have a great day Jas247

How can i repair error 2350 with no cost?

The Windows Error 2350 occurs when the installed version of the Windows Installer is too old for the MSI to execute. The registration entry for the engine has been damaged and all attempts to execute the MSI installation packages will not be successful.Errors on your system may be caused by invalid registry entries and outdated or corrupt drivers.

To fix the registration entry for the Windows Installer, the Installer service should first be registered then unregistered using msiexec /unregister and msiexec /regserver or the command line switches. The user will then have to restart Windows

Phillips dect2152

If you bought the base and handset together they should already be registered. If not then the instruction manual is downloadable here: MANUAL

The relevant section is on page 16 - here is a copy:

4 handsets can be registered to the base station. A handset
can only be associated with 1 base station.
 To register another handset
First enter registration mode by unplugging and
plugging back in the power adapter to the
electricity supply.
Handsets registering / unregistering ( )
To unregister the handset you use
enter the RC code*
To unregister all the handsets (except the handset you are using)
enter the RC code*
Once the menu is selected, enter the RC* code written under the base and press
to confirm.
Warning : If you wish to associate a non-Philips handset to the DECT 211 or DECT 215 base
stations, make sure that these handsets are GAP compliant otherwise they will not operate properly.
*RC code
(Registration
Code) is
written under
the base.
Warning : Once unregistered, the handset is no longer operational.

Please rate my assistance this should be a fixya!
