The quickest way I know how to see if you are running Windows 7 32 bit (sometimes called X86) and 64 bit (also x64) is to click on the Windows button (start button) then Right mouse click on Computer and select Properties from the menu. The window that appears will give you basic system information.
Under the second heading, "System," the 4th entry will be for System Type: and it will say either 32-bit Operating System or 64-bit Operating System. Based on what you asked this is what you are looking for.
