Most major manufacturers supply manuals online so if you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, you may be pleasantly surprised as usually, if available, one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, Dealer Network for spare part supplies as required.

The information is normally free of charge.

I hope this helps.

More than likely it is the Magnetron. Second guess would be the transformer for the mag. Both are expensive.

Could a blown fuse cause a microwave to not heat, fan not turn and turnable not rotate

Not likely. More likely it's a bad door switch or door switch mount.

On Sharps and those made by Sharp (Dacor, Wolf, Viking, Electrolux, etc.) it's usually the bottom door switch.

See this handy help file on door switches.

If you need further help, please reply back or post a new help request which includes your full model number and the symptoms you mentioned above.

Lost my instructions for my sharps microwave oven

just check the internet - there are many manuals websites, and sometimes even the manufacturer posts copies of their manuals
Get the model number for your microwave, then use on of the two sites below. hint: #2 Here are two sites: 1) they will have your manual, but they'll charge you a few bucks for it 2) These guys won't charge you a dime!!! Best wishes, Greg

I have a Sharp Corousel Microwave R230KW.

On most Sharps, the sequence is:

Clock > 2 > 3 > 5 > Clock (for 2:35)
Clock > 2 > 3 > 5 > Start (for 2:35)

You can order many Sharp manuals free here.

Hi, I have a Sharps R-23 AM 1900W microwave. When i use it, it starts the timer and counts down for a few seconds then stops and flashes with 'err 3' on the display. Can you help at all with...

Is that code actually "EE3"?

If so, that is called a Magnetron (1) and (2) failure, but it may not be the magnetron.

It may be any of number of things, form door switches to control board relays to the high voltage parts.

Methodical troubleshooting is needed, and we have the manual for similar models here.

Sharps microwave

The door switches go bad...little micro-switches. Check them for switching on and off. Some are closed when the door is open, some are open when the door is open. It could even be that the catch has moved out of adjustment. If that isn't the problem, you have to consider the brain board which is usually so expensive that the microwave is not worth fixing.

Glass shattered on inside of door.

While we don't have the exact model number on our site, there are a lot of similarities among Sharps, so the basics should apply.

You might look over these two:
