Question about Audio Players & Recorders
First of all, check if there is a reset switch on the device. Most likely it is a small hole where you need to insert a paper clip, a pin or a needle to operate it. This should reset your device.
Sometimes (rarely) you can reset the device with a combination of keys (read the manual for that).
Of couse, make sure you are inserting a charged battery. If not charge it for a while before attempting to turn the device on.
