Are you saying that the laptop says there are no wireless networks available or in range, or that the laptop acts like it has no wireless card?

  • Anonymous Mar 13, 2011

I've never even noticed that before! I tapped the orange icon and instantly had the internet back! Thanks

Do you have a wireless switch on the front of the laptop? If so, you may want to be sure it switched to on. If there's a light indicator for the switch it will illuminate orange when it's off and blue when it's on. Newer HP laptops have a wireless on/off switch on the function keys (F Keys). The same goes for the illumination.
