Question about Microsoft Internet Explorer 8
Internet Explorer (IE), like most web browsers, can be placed in "offline" mode. But to access sites on the Internet, the browser must be in "online" mode.
To return IE to "online" mode, click on "Tools" (near the upper right corner of the browser), and the REMOVE the check in the "Work offline" item. See screenshot:
