Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer

1 Answer

F2 - where are the 3 screws

Are the screws on the front or back of the washing machine. There appears to be a panel on the front - but I'm clueless as to how to remove it - without damaging it. Can you help?

How do you replace the front panel on a Maytag top loader washing machine?

If these are the clips i'm thinking of set the panel in place then grab the bottom of panel and stand up so that the panel is parallel to the floor. Apply pressure as you lower the bottom back down. The clips should slip into the slots, but sometimes it takes a couple of tries. When it's good you will know then replace bottom screws.

If this doesn't seem right give me the model number (the one on the machine) and we'll figure out what is right.

F30 - Open probe connection. All you do is take off the bottom front panel (there are 3 screws). After the panel is off, there is a turn knob right in front in the middle. Simply unscrew it and remove any thing in the "catch". Screw back (re-attach) the knob and you are good to go

I also have the error code E90

This answer was posted by one of the experts on here. I found it for you :)

E90 appears to be caused by faulty connectors to the main circuit board which appears in the bottom right corner, if you're looking at the washer from the front with the lid off (looking down into washer). This is fixed by reseating, cleaning the connectors.

remove 2 screws at the back which secure the top,
push the top backwards,
unplug the connectors to the front panel,
vibrations due to unbalanced load may have loosened them,
push them firmly back in socket,
pushed the top (back to front, make sure a plastic tab seats properly to secure front part of top panel) in place and fastened the screws,
power on,
run the machine empty for minimum cycle - rinse only.

Good luck!!!!
