You need to change your password, it asks you to enter the security code to make sure you are a real person.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My sbcglobel e-mail has been hacked and I was told to change my password, but I have had my password for so long on remember me that I have forgotten the password. How do I get in my password and how do I...

First thing here is to make sure you have actually been hacked. On of the more common things to see is a email saying that your account has been suspended or something like that and to re-enable it you just need to click on the link and reenter your password. So the first thing I would do is phone sbcglobal support and get them to confirm this is the case. IF it is they can reset your password and then all you need do is enter a new one. You will have to prove who you are either by providing billing information from a bill or responding to your own security question.

If you got a email saying your account was hacked suspended etc it is very unlikly it is genuine. It is what is called "phishing" (pronounced fishing). This is just a way for crooks to steal your logon information. If you get these NEVER click on the link. If the phishing email looks right (a lot are quite obviously bad) the link will take you to a page that will resemble your actual logon page. However this page might be anywhere in the world and its sole purpose is to gather information. So if you get these either type in the webpage link or phone support.

So you should call sbc support and have them reset your password and guide you through putting a new one in. It should only take a minute or so and then you will know you are secure again. For passwords think of something longer that 6 characters and preferably a mix of numbers and letters. Don't use anything associated with you. So don't use your street number or telephone number. What you can do is use information from someone else. Lets say your mom's phone number is 555-1111, you could make your password "mom5551111". That actually is a fairly secure password and you would have to tell someone it as it isn't something they could find out. The nice thing about something like this aside from it being almost impossible for someone to figure out is that you will easily remember something like that.

Change password?

FB does not ask you to change your password.....I would think that you may have someone trying to hack you......

Try downloading AVG anti-virus.(free version).if there is a hacker, avg will remove them.........then I would change your password........good luck
