If the + and - bottons don't work, maybe there's an issue with the audio processing stage, please try resetting audio to factory settings, go to audio menu and select reset option, if this doesn't work, your TV could need the audio stage to be repaired.

SOURCE: Sharp Aquos LC-26D4OU HDTV volume adjustment problems

If you use a digital cable box, it could be that the volume on that isn't turned up all the way. I didn't even realize the box had volume controls until 2 years after I got it...makes a HUGE difference now

How to program a sharp smart tv remote

Hi,

You would need the code for the specific model of tv that you listed. Then, you would usually hold a button down (ie set) to put the remote in a state where it a could accept one of a potential list of codes that would be provided to you in the remote documentation. Then, you would test the entered code by attempting to increase the volume and change the channels and such.

But you would need that code list. If you don't currently have it, you can ask sharp to email it to you if you reach out to them.

Thank you.

My TV box volume is slowly decreasing. Before it was on 18 and now 8 have to increase upto 55 digits. Sharp Aquios. How can I set up the volume

Check the speaker/s first. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience.

Model no. 32A33M LCD sharp tv, 32 inch, of serial no. 804734030. no picture shown. only sound is coming. i can decresing/increasing the volume. what can be the problem .

Do a flashlight test. With the TV on and a program is playing, shine a flashlight on the screen. Can you see movement in the picture? If yes then the backlight drivers are not working. If NOT, then the T-con board is bad You can get parts from here : TV Parts Universal TV Stands DLP Chips ShopJimmy

The volume on our E67 series tv will not go past a certain level. how can i fix that?

It is true that you won't start to hear this television's volume increasing until the volume level passes 10. Then it gets louder until the volume level gets to 30 then between 30 and 60 it doesn't get any louder. This is the nature of this particular television. You can go into the audio category of the menu and increase the treble and the bass. Listen to the television with surround on and then off to see which one is louder. Connect the television to a sound bar.

After a television is a year or two old it may start to degrade naturally so you might benefit from being walked through an INIT. Call 877-332-7867 to be walked through one and the television may sound louder after it is complete.

Volume and menu does not display

I had this problem on my Aquos (LC-46D62U). It was NOT a hardware problem. I recommend turning off the television. Next unplug the television for 5 to 10 seconds. This resets something for the television. Plug it back in and turn on the television. You should now be able to get your volume and other on-screen displays.
