Hi,
not much can help without seeing all fittings but if you nip to motorworld they have most connectors for aftermarket and they got decent guys who fit the systems they sell,
hope this helps

No sound aftet market radio put in it light up but no sound

Make sure you have the correct wire harness and all speaker wires are hooked up. If so make sure your ride doesnt have a factory amp. Some bose or infinity factory sound systems have a factory amp that you may need to bypass

I need installation instrutions

for starters get a harness that plugs into your factory radio harness everything in color code so it helps plus dash kit for after market radio you need to wire the remote wire for your amp to blue wire on harness or your acc wire on harness run amp power wire down one side of car & remote wire and rca wires down other side of car so you dont get any engine noise most important make sure you get a good ground to amp if there is any paint or rust where you ground amp use sand paper to clean surface you want good contact with metal hope i was helpful if you need anything else leave another message and ill try my best to help

I was installing an after market Pioneer CD Player into a 1993 Suzuki Swift. I installed it with all the right wiring and everything was working fine with the stereo. Once I turned the headlights on, that...

The adapter harness for the radio is probably not wired correctly. I'll bet you also have no tail lights. You probably wired the harness so that the illumination circuit for the factory radio is wired to the wrong terminal of the new radio, thus the problem occuring when you turned on the headlamp switch. I have seen this many times when someone is trying to wire a radio adapter harness without having access to the factory wiring harness diagrams for the vehicle...the wire colors on the adapter harnesses don't allways match the wire colors of the factory harnesses. You need to know which wire is which and wire the correct wires together regardless of what color they may be. If you wired it simply by the wire colors, it most likely is not correct.
If you are lucky, it only blew the fuse for the tail/dash lamps. It is possible that you now have some serious vehicle wiring harness damage caused by the short circuit that was created.
I would disconnect the new radio and get the car fixed first. Then you need to find out which of the wires in the factory harness is for the illumination circuit and make sure that nothing is connected to it on the adapter harness. Most aftermarket radio/stereo systems do not use this circuit at all.

Where is the 4 channel amp located in the 94 nissan quest.?I am trying to install a stereo and there is no sound due to the amp. I need to know how to wire with the built in amp.

I just installed an after market radio in my 94 Quest.
The easiest way is to buy a Nissan Quest Radio Wiring Harness for Premium Sound. It will have the complete wire hookups. You can also hook up the blue wire from the new radio to thefactory (I think Blue or Blue/White) wire on the harness. That will turn the factory amp on.Hope this helps ,good luck

I put an after market cd player in my 2003 acura 3.2 tl type s. all the speakers are working fine but i am not getting any sound out of the factory subwoofer, it is not working. any idead what i did wrong...

You got to connect the blue amp turn on wire. If still dont work. then you got to find the factory amp find the two wires that sends frequency signals to the amp. You will see a total of 7 wires. So you've got to use process of elimination. Use a multimeter.

1.Constant 12 Volt
2. Ground
3. Amp turn on
4. + output wires going to the + of the subwoofer
5. - output wires going to the - of the subwoofer
6 + input wires going to the radio harness
7 + input wires going to the radio harness

6 & 7 are like the rca's you plug in at the input of an aftermarket amplifier and and on the other end plug in the output subwoofer of the Radio.

So on a factory amp you wont see any RCA's its all wires. Once you find the first 5 just remember the last 2 wires.

If you want your radio to control the gain and volume of the Subwoofer get a long RCA plug it on the back of your radio that says sub output and then cut the other end of that RCA and connect the positive the + input wire on the amp and the negative to the negative input wire on the amp.

If you dont know whats positive or negative just go ahead and connect it and experiment. You will know if your in phase when the subs sound boomy. Then the connections are correct. If it sounds Tinney then the connection is out of phase. solder then tape all connections with black electrical tape. Dont leave any power wires exposed or else cause a short and blow fuses.

Good luck

Installing an aftermarket stereo, spliced the wires and have everything connected including the remote wire to the factory amp wire but still no sound.

There is no remote wire on these newer trucks....03 and up....u have to buy the harness....although i didnt....i have an 03 gmc sierra and just pulled the schematic and matched the wires. And there is no programming to do on an aftermarket stereo.....I work for GMC and we cant program aftermarket stereos......if u buy the right harness ...and its over $100 then everything should work just fine.....and this does not disarm ur alarm system either....mine still works fine....hope this helps

Replacing factory radio

With that year vehicle it is recommended that you use a special harness because it has an factory amp and in order to get the proper wiring it requires the harness also if you don't use the harness you will loose your onstar and vehicle chimes and warning sounds.
