How can I find out the part number for a bearing on my fisher & paykel dryer?

Your model number might be DG62T27GW2.
You can get a user manual from this site.
http://www.ajmadison.com/ajmadison/itemdocs/3969_USA_EN_Smartload_Dryer_UC.pdf

To find the part numbers from Fisher and Paykel parts catalogue you need the serial number or product number of the dryer. This should be on a sticker on the inside of the lid. Once you find it go to this site and download a parts manual.

Squeaking while running

Either the idler has a dry bearing and needs a couple shots of oil, or there is dirt build up on the pulley.

Depends on age..its the bearings that gone, normally a felt bearing seal the drum and wears after about 4 yrs.parts cost about.£18..plus labour..so you decide. please leave feedback

Me GE elec. dryer is screeching, how do I solve this problem

First, stop using the dryer. It is telling you "I'm broken".

Several things can cause the noise you are describing:

1. Belt is slipping. Lost proper amount of tension on the tension pulley as spring has become weak.

2. Rear drum bearing has rubbed completely through and the drum is now riding on the metal support, This can cut into the drum support and trash it.

3. Tension pulley has got bearings that have gone dry (bad). Fix is to replace pulley.

4. Chance that the bearings in the motor itself have gone dry (Bad). Some you can oil and some are sealed. In either case, if they are making this noise, they are probably no good and motor needs replacing.

Good Luck and let me know how it turns out.

I need a Fisher and Paykel GW 601 Electric Dryer bearing

If the noise is like a shaking of rattling , like coins being shaked , then it is an object trapped inside the drum.

If instead the noise is a loud grinding , that may get louder on high speed, then it is usually a bad drum bearing.

Rollers and belt tensioner can also make noise.

The mount assy on right side across from lint catch completly fell off. I was able to rig it but how do i fix it?

If I am understanding your description correctly, the bearing cover on the opposite side of the drum from the lint bucket and filter has come apart on you. The part is sold as a kit with the cover, bearing, retainer and all the screws included, as well as an instruction sheet. It is a part number 479332 and you can get them here:

Bearing

Your best bet is to go to the Fisher and Paykel website at:

http://www.fisherpaykel.com/customer/ this will give you a phone number to call for parts.

Personally I would not recommend anyone else for such a high end item as some of their models.
Hope this helps you out.
