First, look above the touchpad, see if there is a small button to unlock it. If it doesn't have one, you'll need to use the "Fn" key and one of the F buttons along the top of your keyboard.

Hi Casey, to reset your phone is very easy you can follow few steps and perform reset on your phone. Let me provide you the steps, let me remind you before you reset the phone that you will be losing all of your personal information in the phone.

  • Power off the phone

    • Press and hold Vol+ key and Power key simultaneously until several blue sentences appear on the screen which are reboot system now; apply update from sdcard; wipe data/factory reset; wipe cache partition.

      • Use Vol+ key and Vol- key to move the cursor to "wipe data/factory reset" and press camera key to confirm it.

      • There are many words "No" and one sentence "Yes -- delete all user data". Use Vol+ key and Vol- key to move the cursor to "Yes -- delete all user data". Press camera key to confim it.

      • The phone will finish the reseting by itselft after about 10 seconds later and then the cursor will be on "reboot system now" and press camera key to confirm it. The phone will reboot automatically. There is no unlock and password any more after the phone is on.
If after performing reset still your phone is locked than you can call the manufacture they will be able to help you with this issue.

OSD main controls locked and moving cursors by itself

i think the main board is flaky in that monitor. Hook up another known good monitor to that computer and see if it behaves in the same way.

If it does behave in the same way then you know its either the video card or the motherboard if you have an integrated video connector to the motherboard.

If it goes away then you know the phillips monitor is bad.

If its the phillips monitor that is bad for sure. You can try taking off the front cover and try cleaning the contacts on the main board in the front of the monitor. Could be that a few of them have dust or dirt and is activating those buttons by accidents inadvertently.
