Dishwasher is working fine however at the completion of the cycle and when it sits idle it seems to be flooding from under the filter area.Flooding is slow however but causes headaches when it breaches bottom door seals approx 40mm in bottom of unit over 12 hr period. Thanks Lindsay

Your water fill valve is slowly leaking water into your dishwasher. Your need to turn off the house water valve, to your dishwasher, and see if the problem stops. If it does then replace the dishwasher water fill valve. If it doesn't stop, then you have water coming in through your drain lines, which is highly unlikely. You will have to check to make sure your drain line has a high loop in it, or install an air gap. Good luck, Appliance Specialists

Bosch SMU50E15AU PROBLEM WITH FLOODING Does the

If dishwasher is flooding it is because the water inlet valve is not closing properly. Often they get stuck - you can replace the valve or take it apart and subject it to numerous on/off cycles after using wd 40 . That will loosen it up and save you some bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Kenmore 800 series washer leaks from under the front left during the spin cycle. I looked behind it and checked the connections but all seems fine in that area. What could be causing this?

Same problem! Flooded the laundry room and about 1/4 of the basement. Happens randomly, not every load. Checked all hoses, they are snug and don't appear to be leaking at all. During the wash cycle it you can hear it spraying water inside the washer and the floor starts flooding. I bought the washer Sept. 19, 2009 and have had this problem for about 5 weeks now. Sears refuses to do anything about it, because it's no longer under warranty.

Dishwasher pump keeps running

This is caused by a water leak into the base pan,it will trigger the anti flood and the machine will continously drain out even with the door open, you need to establish what is leaking,if you leave the appliance standing for a few days it will start again as the water will evaporate however if the fault returns you will definetly have aleak on the appliance which will require further investigation.

You shouldn't notice a difference if you remove the air filter. So I would replace it. Also if you are using compressed air to clean or blow-out the carb. Be careful, its not recommended and could make it worse.

Dishwasher flooding

When you say that you tried other solutions.. it's hard to know which you've tried and which you haven't so I will suggest some basics first.. ( if you've tried them, then disregard)...
Have you checked or addressed the following:
  1. Cleaned the drain filter
  2. Checked the drain hose for crimps or restrictions
  3. Sure the drain system ( such as your feed thru the garbage disposal isn't clogged or restricting flow)
  4. Checked your water pump for an obstruction or you can determinbe if it is actually pumping
  5. The feed and returm hose ..to anf from the pump are not clogged, pinched or restricting flow.
These are the basics that you should have examined or confirmed aren't causing the problems you are seeing. One other as well.. are you sure your water inlet valve is completely shutting water from leaking in and over-filling the system? Check these items and you should be able to diagnose where the problem is.. Hope this helps you,

My dishwasher is leaking water out of the bottom. Please help.

I do not recommend using dishwasher tablets, they get stuck in the sump and cause flooding.

Also try cleaning the filter in the bottom, under the basket. If it is full of food it can cause flooding.
