Question about Dishwashers
Error code 4 on Fisher and Paykel dishwasher means No temperature increase has been sensed for 2 hours while the element is on. This could have happened when the heating element is not connected or the element has failed open circuit. If the element is fine then this issue is due to temperature sensor failure, rarely due to failure of electronic controller. Use a multimeter to test the resistance of the heater element using the connection on the controller, the value should be around 2800-300ohms when checking through RX1 scale. Also inspect the wiring to the temperature sensor. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need further assistance.
