Question about NetGear WGR614 Wireless Router
The best way to do it, though you may have tried it already, is to use a pen/pencil and push the reset button in for 5-10 seconds.
This will usually reset it to the factory default settings and reset any password protection on its wireless.
If not, it's a problem with the other computers detecting the signal, be it not in range or something else.

Unfortunately, there is no way to recover a lost or forgotten password from a router or access point; you will need to reset the device to factory defaults. However, once the device is reset to factory defaults, you can use the default username ("admin") and password (either "password" or "1234" depending on your router) to reconfigure your router settings.
