How get my WF-3640 Printer to print. It keeps saying "Paper type does not match paper settings."

Your printer comes with software used by the computer to control how it prints. Open the printer software and then select print setup. Under that screen somewhere there is paper size selection. Make sure it is set to whatever size paper you have in the printer (i.e., 8-1/2" x 11", etc.). All it is is a size paper mismatch. The computer is trying to tell the printer to print on one size of paper and the printer is saying it can because it has a different size of paper in it.

My Epson Artisan 730 Printer keeps ejecting its CD/DVD Print tray, saying that there is a cd there. There, of course isn't. Can anyone help me? I really need to print.

My husband adjusted the CD/DVD tray, then we selected the icon that looks like a wrench on the printer's message window, then "restore default settings" on it. Turned computer off then on again, and it FINALLY started working again :)

Printer keeps saying busy printing another document

A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer (if USB connected)> reboot your pc > unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer (if USB connected). Then try to print again once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection or when the WiFi light on the printer turns solid green (if WiFi connected.).

If that doesn't help, try the steps below:

  1. Disconnect the USB cable connecting the printer from your computer.
  2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.
  3. Delete the Lexmark print object.
  4. Reboot computer.
  5. Re-brick your printer by pulling out the power supply - black box where the power cord is plugged into on the back of the printer, and re-plug after 30 seconds.
  6. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to the computer.
  7. Wait until your computer fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list, try to print a document to verify that the problem is fixed.

A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Disconnect your printer from your computer. Reboot your computer. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer. Try to print again.
You can also try to re-install the printer driver to repair any possible corrupted files necessary for printer communication and processes.

Try turning your printer off, then turning it back on. This usually helps, also you could try to make sure that your connection with the your computer is stable.

My computer says that my printer is offline.

Please follow the steps given below to perform a self test on the printer:

1. Switch off the printer.
2. Press and hold down the paper feed button.
3. While keeping the paper feed button depressed, turn the power back on.
4. When the printer starts to print, release the paper feed button.
5. When the first page is printed, switch off the power (otherwise the printer will keep on printing).
