The mileage on my 2006 BMW 530i won't reset to 16,000 miles for next service it only went to 0 miles what could the problem be

This from another Fixya answer: "if you look on the instrument clusteryou will see 2 buttons in the lower centre part of the dash, make sure the ignition is swiched off, press and hold the left button and turn the ignition on to the first position keep holding the button down until you see the display change, then lift you finger and press and hold again untill reset appears ( normally after aprox 5 seconds ) it will also flash, once this happens lift your finger again then press and release straight away, this should reset the service indicator. regards mark ps you may want to print this off prior to trying to reset to make it easier to follow, good luck"

Rinnai Royale IB35R ,the flame goes off once I released the press button, it wont hold on as usual

pamgee - it may be a case of not holding the ignition button in long enough ( at least 15 seconds) so that the flame failure device (Thermocouple) will get hot enough, to maintain the pilot flame and the low burner. If it fails to light and hold the first time, push the igniter button again and release it. Wait 30 seconds and try lighting it again.

In case you have misplaced the Owner's Manual, I have provided a link that you can download & print for future reference. http://www.rinnai.com.au/images/stories/operating_instructions/Heating/Flames/Royale%20Inbuilt.pdf

I hope this helped you to solve the problem ... Cheers

Galexy 21 will not keep going once you take your finger off igniter button

Thermal coupler is bad. Here is what it looks like. The flame will make contact with this to prove the flame exists to open the main gas valve.

My Rinnai Flame fire classique ib30 will light, but as soon as i lift my finger it goes out, what is my solution??

From what you have describe, it sounds as if the Thermocouple on the Pilot Assembly has failed and needs to be replaced. Or if this is a Vent-free (vent-less or ductless) gas fireplace, the Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) is clogged with dust, lint and/or pet hair. The ODS constantly monitors the room's oxygen level to make sure that there is enough O2 for safe combustion. The ODS is part of the pilot. The reason I mention this, is that your model does not appear in any of the Rinnai USA products. So, I don't know if it's a Direct Vent Gas Fireplace or a Vent-free Model. In any event, the Thermocouple can be an issue with both.

Hope this helps you troubleshoot the problem.

Goodman gms80903bna light blinks once fan runs all the time,

I believe this code is ignition failure.
Turn power off and after 20 seconds turn power on with thermostat calling for heat. Vent blower should come on first. After a bit igniter should lite up. You should hear click noise of gas valve open up. If igniter does lite and you hear click noise, flame should come on for a few seconds minimum. If igniter doesn't lite and you hear click noise from gas valve, igniter is bad. If flame lites and then goes out, flame sensor probably needs cleaned. Both igniter and flame sensor are in metal plate under burners. Igniter has 2 wire going to it and flame sensor has one wire. If you think it is flame sensor you can remove with taking it out with 1 1/4" hex screw. Flame sensor will have white film on it if it needs cleaned, clean with steel wool or a dollar bill. If it isn't weither of these it is gas valve or circuit board.

Replace the flame sensor on the side of the heat canister. You may also have to replace the gas valve coils.

Mr Heater MH75KT - won't start with diesel

If the MH75KT is the correct model, then it is a Kerosene only heater. Fuels, like oil and diesel all have different ignition points.
