The best approach would be to go to the manufactures website and download the latest drivers for your model printer.

Need to install Epson stylus T10

If you have the installation CD with you, use it.
Do not connect the printer before running the installation set up.
Run the printer install setup from the CD, then follow the instructions and connect the printer when prompted to.

If you donot have the CD, Go to the following URL and download the printer installer/drivers required and install the printer.

Need cd to install printer 4270,error report 1200

You can download the installation software from the Lexmark website if you do not have the cd. Just click on the support link and lookup your specific model #. Select the operating system you are running. Download the driver/software package listed and run. This will install your printer like if you had the cd. Hope this helps.

I got a new desktop Dell (runs on Vista) to replace my old Dell laptop (runs on Windows XP). I inserted the software CD for my HP Office Jet K80 All in One printer and it literally exploded loudly inside...

Vista has identified your printer. It loads up its default printer driver (stored in vista OS) in your new computer. This usually have the basic features only. You need to run again the CD to install or enable the added features of your said printer. If you have lost the CD you can do an alternate option by downloading the software on this link. ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/united-states/pse/hppse1.12.0.46enu.exe

For the the CD that was crumbled inside your cd-rom. You can try to pull out the CD from the Tower casing and try yo maually open the CD rom unit itself. Or may i suggest that you can buy a new one. (CD/DVD roms are cheaper now a days)

The causes of CD crashing inside your CD rom;

1. wrong placement of CD/DVD disc
2. Hardware failure of the CD/DVD roms

Lost my starter cd

I don't know who makes your printer, but most manufacturers have these drivers on their websites, simply download and install them. You may not get any extras that were packaged with the starter cd, but you should be able to run the printer.

Printer cd rom won't load and run to instal new printer because it says that it can't run in the current operating system, what can I do?

If you CD installer is for Vista, and you are using windows XP, it will not run and you will really get that error. If your CD Installer is for Vista or XP and your Operating System is linux or MAC, you can't really get to install it. Please find the appropriate installer for your OS. Or, you might have not run the right setup.exe program in your CD.

Get "no registry key" when I try to run the installation cd

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud
