Your unloader valve is not working. There is too big a load for he motor to start. Sometimes there gets to be a build up of grunge in this valve and it needs to be taken apart and cleaned or replaced.

Got a 1996 polaris xplorer 4x4 .wont start, fan and oil light is on,we mix gas in the tank, oil jug empty, could this be why oil jug empty.

if it has a oil light on and the oil reservoir is empty , the it would be reasonable assumption that unless there is oil available to mix with the fuel , it will not be allowed to start
It is a 2 stroke that has a metered amount of oil that varies according to engine rpms and is not a pre-mix situation that you have assumed it to be
so fill the oil tank with the correct 2 stroke oil, remove the oil mix fuel and save it for a whipper snipper or other small engine , fill the tank with the correct fuel and it will most likely start

Town and Country Van running out of gas and guage says half a tank what could be the problem?

If your fuel gauge is showing you in accurate readings this is normal to all vehicles that are not used to fill-up gas full regularly but sometimes the cause of the inacuracy is due to faulty float valve in the gas tank you need to replace it

1999 MERCURY VILLAGER BOGS WHEN GOING UP HILL WHEN ONLY 1/8TH TANK OF GAS FILLE IT UP AND THEN STILL BOGGED FOR ABOUT A MILE THEN QUIT BOGGING WHAT CAUSED THIS

when a tank is empty there is no fuel for the pump and the system runs low on fuel pressure Going up hill the fuel runs away from the pick up line and the pump sucks air
After filling it takes a while to empty the air out of the system to allow full pressure again. It is an extremely costly practice to run so low on fuel as it may lead to a pump replacement

Ran out of gas and then I put gas now my car won't start the engine turns but won't start how can I fix it

Some vehicles need a substantial amount of fuel put in the tank after they have run out, Sounds daft that they will completely empty the tank, but won't restart unless you put a minimum of 10 litres back in. Most modern tanks are fitted with a swirl pot that cools unused fuel returned to the tank. Try putting extra fuel in it.

Water running out radiator when running with the cap off on a 3.4 motor

That's what the overflow tank is for. The fluid will spill out with least resistance. Hence, cap off. Put cap back on and forget about it. The overflow tank will fill and empty when the radiator needs more or less coolant. Just make sure the level on the o/f tank filled to the line marker. It's normal dont worry

I have a kobalt 236005 air compressor. It will fill the tank to 150psi properly. When it is time for it to refill the tank it will either trip the breaker or overheat the motor. It will not fill the tank...

Apparently you have a start capacitor, which acts as a surge tank to allow motor to start up under a load. Its usually a black cylinder shaped object with two [2] prongs with a wire plugged onto each one [1]. It can be tested with proper equipment, but should be reasonable to buy.

Will not run unless gas is full in the tank when gas goes down about 1/4 tank the it shuts down. Fill it back up and it starts and runs. This is brand new used for the first time had to keep filling up...

It definitely sounds like the fuel line in the tank is sticking up, not laying on the bottom attatched to the filter as it should. See if you can drain the tank and take a look inside at the fuel supply line.

We get the message Unit Cal.Fied - what to do?

You need to run the Decalcyfying program. Push and hold the button with the symbol that looks like a tube with small dots inside. You will get the message empty tray and empty grounds. Do so, and put everything back. The message Solvent or Agent in tank will be displayed. Meassure up 700ml water in a container, put 3 Descaling tablets in the water and let it be completly desolved before you pour this into the empty watertank. It`s very important that you don`t use more liquid, this will make the program run forever. When the solvent is in the tank, push the buttoun again, and the program starts. After a while (20 minutes or so) you will be asked to empty tray/grounds again and to fill the watertank. At this point you can fill up the watertank, this will not affect the running of the program. In the end, you must empty tray/grounds again, and after this the machine is heating up and ready to use. Good luck!

Empty tank, but "filled" light still on. Won't turn off

be sure that you all have the bucket fully installed against the bucket switch, to see if the switch is bad, remove the bucket and press in on the switch, if the compressor starts then the bucket is out of place if it does not start then the bucket switch needs inspection
