Why does my Vizio TV show verticle colored bars on the right side of the picture and good clear picture on the left side?

The ribbon cables that carry the picture information from the screen driver to the LCD panel have come unstuck. However, because of the way these things are bonded to the screen in manufacture, you can't just fix it with a blob of glue. There are dozens of tiny filaments of wire all relying on a surface touch contact. If you remove the ribbon and then try to glue it back you'll never get all the contacts to touch.

The best thing to do is to leave the cable attached as it is, and then apply some pressure to the back to hold the contacts together. The perfect thing for this is some neoprene tubing. Is is soft and squashy enough to wedge in the space between the panel edge and the TV frame.

So, this isn't something that can be fixed by pressing a button. It needs a physical repair. If this sounds like it is beyound you then better safe than sorry, take the TV to a repair shiop. Good luck

Picture flickering and faded on left had side of the screen

if rebooting the monitor would do no good, try to get a spare monitor cable if the same flickering issue took effect. If it is so, then call your pc provider to repair your monitor..

Colored verticle bars, some w/colored snow, picture is still on

It sounds to me like you have a bad plasma panel. Unfortunately you may now be in the market for a new TV if you are not under a warranty of some kind. That issue is unfortunately unrepairable because it requires you to replace the entire panel and therefore is not cost effective.

Philips TV Model 32DW6557/05 Screen Problem

hi it sounds like a capacitor in the verticle circuit located on the main board. it is near the verticle ic. the verticle ic also could be bad the cost is around 85 dollars for a tv shop to fix. sometime a cold joint could be found around vert ic. a soldering iron is required with solder.tap the side of tv if picture comes back it is just cold solder joint.

LOSS OF T.V. PICTURE

My television has sound but no picture. I can not program the television because I can not see the screen menu. I also have tried to change the antennae but this does nothing to the picture's reception.

Do you have any ideas to correct this problem. There is no warranty.
