All you need to know is that the drain needs to have fall and keep the bends to a maximum of 2-3

How to properly install my carrier siesta air conditioner, seems to build up condensation that wont evaporate ,justwant the proper installation diagram ,orhow to do it yourself kinda video

condensation doesn't evaporate
it runs off the evaporator fins into a drain channel and out side
it is possible that the drain is blocked
the action of an air conditioner is to remove the humidity (condensation from the room) and drain it outside
if it is to evaporate then the purpose of the air conditioner would be defeated.

Ruud achiever 90 condensation overflow

Not a furnace guy but I do know that your drain should be insulated. Gotta figure out if it's water from the drain leaking or actual condensation dripping from the outside. If sweat, it needs insulated. Good Luck.

I have a 2006 saturn ion 2. Just recently, my ac is draining into the passenger floor board. How do i fix this ?

Bulletin No.: 03-01-39-011B
Date: November 22, 2005
TECHNICAL
Subject:
Water Leaks Into Passenger Compartment Through HVAC Module Condensate Drain Tube When Parked on Incline/Uphill Position (Install Auxiliary Drain Tube Extension)
Models:
2003-2006 Saturn ION Sedans and Coupes
Supercede:
This bulletin is being revised to include the 2005 and 2006 model years. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 03-01-39-011A (Section 01 - HVAC).
Condition
When vehicle is parked on an incline with the front end up during a rainstorm or when driving uphill during a rainstorm, water may leak into the passenger compartment through the condensate drain tube opening of the HVAC module.
Cause
Water may drain out of the cowl drain, then drain down the front of the dash panel in the engine compartment and seep into the HVAC module condensate drain tube opening. The water then collects in the heater core cover and upon acceleration may leak into the passenger compartment through the heater core cover seams.
Correction 1. Open the hood and locate the HVAC module condensate drain tube in the engine compartment on the right side of the dash panel.
Important: During installation of the auxiliary drain tube, do not make contact with the HVAC module foam gasket located at the base of the HVAC module condensate drain tube. If the auxiliary drain tube is pushed on too far and makes contact with the foam gasket, water may leak into the passenger compartment.
2. Slide the auxiliary drain tube onto the HVAC module condensate drain tube and make sure that the auxiliary drain tube is angled downwards after installation.cansmo_121.gifcansmo_122.gif

When i run the ac it leaks on the floor from the inside n i dont know what to do about this problem.

All portable or window ac units are mounted or standing with the back lower housing at a slope

so that the condensed water buildup from the evaporator can drain into a tray or thru a tube out

the back of the unit, depending on what kind of unit you have you may have to take it apart and

make sure the drain for the condensed water is not blocked. some times these units are not

installed correctly, they will not drain properly and standing water with time will turn to rust and

clog up the tube where it needs to flow from the ac unit. good luck!

Should this boiler be installed with a condensate pipe to the drains or is this not required as it is not a fully condensating boiler

Hello

Yes you will need to run condensate lines to the drain, pvc is fine.
Once you start up and see how much water is generated you will see why.

During the reburn of the natural gas there will be alot of moisture.

I have a freidrich model cp24e30 ariconditioner I just installed. Where is the drainage plug located

On the condenser / outside left rear corner about 4 incues in from the corner and left side as you look at it there is a punch out hole in the drain pan. The newer AC Units are designed to use the plastic fan blade of the condenser fan to splash water on the condenser and evaporate the water. Most of the time it is not necessary to open this drain hole unless you live in a damp climate where the home constantly has a higher internal humidity percentage. It is however necessary to have the unit serviced at regular intervals for coil and fan cleaning due to the fact that dust becomes a caked up goo over time especially on the condenser coil and the 2 fans.

If you feel that you need to open the hole in the drain pan trhen you will also need to install the 3 X 5 inch external drain catch basin with 3 screws and possibly connect an external drain hose and piping.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Leaking central a/c unit

All central A/C units have a condensate drain line that comes from just under the evaporator in the Main air supply plenum.

You may have a blockage in that drain line and will have to remove the pipe to clear the obstruction. Try flushing the drain pipe with warm water until it flows easily from the top to the end.

You might have a gravity drain that goes into a floor drain or a french drain along the basement walls. The other typical drain installation is a condensate pump that the water drains into and when the float in the tank is lifted, a small pump turns on and pumps the water (condensate) out of the house either thru a drain hose thru the wall, or into a drain in the basement, etc.

Check the entire drain line and anything connected to it for any possible obstructions and/or blockage.

If you have any other questions once you take a look at your installation, just add a comment and I'll check back within a day to provide more info, based on your input.

I hope you found this very helpful and best regards!

Pan missing when RUUD unit was installed causing problems with AC

I think your talking about an emergency drain pan. Is condensation building up on the outside of the unit? If it is, it means that the unit is not draining properly and the is too much water sitting in the main condensate pan. If you don't have the emergency pan, then the condensate drips from the unit onto the ceiling in your attic. I'm assuming a lot of things but this is what I think you are asking. You will have to find an ac supply company that will sell you an emergency pan and then it must be piped to the outside of the home or it can be plugged but with the use of a float switch. This switch will shut the unit off if the main condensate drain becomes clogged. You should have a professional come and wire a float switch unless you are knowledgeable about a/c equipment. I hope this answers your question.

Cant find drain hole in window air-con

Modern window AC units no longer have a drain hole.

Condensate flows to the area under and around compressor. The heat from the compressor evaporates the water.
