i think it may be this
hit the power key plus the F11 keys at the same time holding them down until the
recovery management comes up then follow the onscreen instructions
some laptops have the recovery options in your programs
or go to start
search
restore
then look for advance options
please save any files or photos that you want to a spare hard drive or pendrive as you will
loose them if you do a factory restore

In restoring your system back to factory settings, you will need the recovery disc. The title of it is "Application and drivers".

start > all programs > accessories > system tools > system restore, restore it to the first point, and though this will erase all your files prior to, it will roll back your computer back to the original settings... also going to computer info, you can reset the settings to the default...
