Question about Panasonic Televison & Video

1 Answer

I have a Pana PV-3700-K made in 1987 I have the manuals remote, even the original paper "features" label. Not a scratch on it. It has had it's share of use,..did not sit on the shelf. It wont light up...the power transformer or its fuse was blown by a power surge. I suspect the belts/tires are near death as well. Are belt kits still avail? Is this model (Tech 3) worth the trouble, or should I toss it?

I suspect that if it was just the belts then you could repaire it, but power supply problems are a different matter. If the transformer has blown you would be looking at a hefty bill in parts alone. If it was one of my favourite machines I would look for another on E-Bay even if it was only to salvage parts to repair it. Otherwise the only thing you could do is sell your clapped out model on E-Bay for parts!

Does anyone have a manual for a jvc ux-c7

If you have a computer or at least access to one, which I assume you do since you're posting these types of questions online in this website, then you can go to audio.manualsonline.com and pull up any manual for any type of audio equipment and it should be available in pdf format. This means you would have the option to print it out so you can have a hard copy or you can simply save the document to your computer. I have a file on my computer labeled MANUALS in which I save any manual that I've ever had to look up on the computer. These come in really handy if you ever have a need to refer back to them in the future and nothing beats a paperless "filing cabinet" for storing the instructions for anything and everything you have in you home that may need repair or just a refresher course on the features and/or functions of the item. Plus they can be located in a nano-second from a list of documents in a computer file instead of having to search thru a paper file that might be literally 3 to 4 or maybe even 6 inches thick because of all the manuals you've accumulated over the years. I took it a step further and located the manuals for items as I purchased them, saved them to my computer file and recycled the original that came in the box. If the original is printed as a single sided document, cut it into 4 x5 pieces of paper and use it for scratch paper or save it for the kids to color on.

Remote doesn't work

Remote issues and answers:

If you are using a "universal" remote do not expect it to if it evenprograms to have all the functions you need or had with the"original" remote.

If you are searching for codes for a universal to program it: GOOGLE the modelnumber of the remote for "codes" or if you do not have the ownermanual GOOGLE the model number of the remote for "manual".

Some remotes have a search feature that allows you to try all codes on at atime.

Universal remotes are far from UNIVERSAL.

If you have a remote that does not work at all--have it tested first: a remotetester is used at many electronic repair centers and places like Radio Shack for example.

Point remote at the tester and press any button and a strip or light willflash----some digital cameras will also react on display screen to this.

If dead check the battery/s and the connections where they go and if only somebuttons have to be pressed hard the unit may have had something spilled on it:it can be taken apart and cleaned in a proper way to resolve this.

If it has been dropped it can also be taken apart to see if the infrared LED/sat its sending end have come loose from the circuit board inside the remote.

Lastly is the best argument for an original remote is on many sets even if itprograms it will just not have all the needed functions the original one had.

Many companies especially on units with DVD OR VCR built in change the codewith each model and or year as most of these are not actually made by thecompany whose name is on the unit.

Let me know if you have further questions and I will try to help.

Return the universal remote,if all ur tv universal codes of ur tv on the owner manual, don't work.Try website like Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote or very close capatible to it.Yes,it cost double even tripple the prices of any niversal remotes, but these remotes are 100% it will work with ur tv,because it the same or compatible as a orginal remote would.

Our company has a tech that comes in to fix our "phone network problems" but every time he leaves there is always a new set of problems It's become an exponential conundrum. Really what I want to...

Start by identifying what system you have. There are at least 6 manuals; the Features Manual, Operating Manual, PC Programming Manual, Proprietary Telephone Programming Manual, and Installation Manual at a minimum.

I'd start with the OM and FM.

Try putting more than one sheet of labels in the paper tray. Even if you're printing one label, it helps the printer grab the paper without that error somehow. If you're already using more than one sheet, I don't know. Good luck either way!!! :)

How to use

Does the copier have a duplexer? Automatic 2-sided copying (duplexing) was an optional feature for the EP2030. If there is a drawer in the lower section of the copier labeled "duplex" then your unit has this feature.

To use it, simply select 1>2 (for single-sided originals) or 2>2 (for 2-sided originals) on the "Orig>Copy" section of the control panel (toward the left side).

If your copier is not equipped with a duplexer, the only way you can make 2-sided copies is to copy the first side and then load the copies back into the paper tray or the manual bypass on the right side of the unit.

Note the the copier copies on the bottom side of paper fed from the paper trays, and the top side of paper fed from the manual bypass.

You can download a .pdf file of an operator's manual for this copier from the Konica Minolta website.
