Dropped phone in water works but no mic or sound, and black scren

You gotto take it to the service station Sherwood, there is a possibility of the small speaker connectors getting fried coz of a short in the moterboard inside the phone. Other experiments may spoil the phone for no good.

Blackberry Curve rollerball scrolls but will not select when push

Try removing the silver cover around the scroll ball, and remove the ball. There should be a little white square underneath it. If there is no white square, but a red square, then it could be water damage. I had the same issue with mine.

Dropped my blackberry curve in literally a fraction of an inch of water for only a second. everything works except rollerball will not select when pushed in...still scrolls in all directions with no other...

  1. Pull the battery
  2. Place the phone in a bag of instant rice (or industrial desiccant if you happen to have some)
  3. Vacuum seal if possible
  4. Give it a week.
After a week of that it will have the best chance of working.

Moto roker E6 is not power on

use your travel charger, connect it to your phone, does the battery indicator went up? if it does, it means the on-off switch get broken, fix the on-off switch only.

if the indicator doesn't go up. try another battery, is your battery broken?

if another battery(probably u can borrow from ur fren who has the same phone or same type battery) doesn't solve this problem, here the hard part goes..

1. did your phone just fell down hardly ? if it did, ur phone got to be fixed by professional technician, probably some component inside get broken.
2. did ur phone just get dropped to water, or just face a lot of water splash? if it did, the water can cause short electricity problem to your phone's component..
3. notice if any light, any sound come out from ur phone when you switch it on, if there's light on the keypad, or any start up sound or keypad's tone when u press it, it means ur phone is ok, just the LCD (display)
4. If none of above occur to ur phone, ur phone might face software problem. fix it to the professional technician.

Hope thissolve ur problem.

Palm Centro - no backlight

Sometimes we can resolve the issue by pressing the Options key and the Menu key simultaneously. The Centro Keyboard backlight would Turn ON.

Keys not working

if you havent tried this before, do a hard reset, take the battery out etc. if you have done that or if this doesnt work, run the application loader on the blackberry desktop manager that is on that CD that came with the phone.

double click the application loader icon on the screen and the application loader wizard will pop up....just keep pressing next until it comes to a white screen where it says no actions are requried....select advanced. select the first box that says erase all application data and select next. after that, select the fist butotn and the check box below that says automatically back up.

at this point, keep clicking next. its going to uninstall and reistall all of your data. it shouldnt delete anything unless theres a system glitch. but bassically youre doing a master reset. unless you spilled water on the keypad, this should fix the issue.

Treo 650 keyboard stuck

Sure. This involves taking the phone apart. Fortunately, it isn't difficult. Go to "mytreo.net, and find the BUZZ FIX. It will give you instructions with photos of how to open your 600 and perform the BUZZ FIX. Do that while you have the phone open. You will disconnect the battery in that process. Carefully lift the board that the battery is mounted on and this will expose the KEYPAD. Remove it, clean the keypad, and the pressure contacts below it -- carefully with a Q-tip and a little water and perhaps a little alcohol. Put the keypad back in place. Put the board back in place. Reconnect the battery after performing the BUZZ FIX (you may as well do it while you have the unit apart because you will have the buzz sooner or later). Put the case back together. Tighten the screws. Turn the unit on and make a call. If it doesn't work then you are in trouble.
