The best way would be to get it done by professionals. The cost is around $50 for a cleaning, I highly recommend going this route rather than trying to do it yourself. Many videogame retailers also do repairs and cleanings.

Probably a dirty laser. You'll have to use a laser cleaning disc made for Wii. If that doesn't do it then it's most likely a bad laser. Not an easy self fix for a newbie. ?warrenty? then send it in to Nintendo.(you can find out on their web site) If not, then replacing the laser yourself or finding someone who can is the best bet. Actualy kinda cheap to buy a new laser(ships from Hong Kong), There are other causes for read errors, but I've found the laser to be the culprit most of the time. Could be just dirty,.. dust & cigarrette smoke can be cleaned with the cleaning discs but , the best way is of course to open the Wii and wipe the laser with a Qtip soaked with alcohol. But a Wii is not all that easy to open up. ($7 for cleaning disc, $9 for new laser, $90 to get Nintendo to fix it.)

Game won't load, stuck on browser

This problem is a typical symptom for a dirty laser reader, or dirty/damaged disc. Look at the disc and make sure it is not all scratched up or dirty. If it is dirty, clean the disc with a soft cotton cloth, like a t-shirt.
If that doesn't eliminate the problem, then you will need to insert a cleaning disc into the game console. This is a disc specially designed to clean lasers in consoles, dvd players, etc. You can find them at Target, Walmart, Best buy, etc. Pretty much anywhere dvds, cds or video games are sold.
That should take care of the issue. If it doesn't then you will need to take your console to a local repair place to have it professionally cleaned out and tested.

Brand new fifa game and it tells me to refer to manual now all my games are doing it whats wrong?

You either have a dirty laser or bad laser. Clean the laser with rubbing alcohol and a qtip if that doesnt work replace the laser. They are cheap on ebay under $10.

My printer does not take in the paper....whats causing this problem?

Most common cause is a dirty feed roller. clean the rubber with dishwashing liquid and try again. if problem persists, have the feed clutch changed.

Doesnt read any disc

sounds like either a dirty laser or a low powered laser, laser cleaning discs tend to be **** once the laser has stopped reading, if you are confident in stripping it , locate the laser and twist a cotton bud into it,this is the best way of cleaning, do not use any cleaning fluid as this can damage it.

40gb ps3 not reading any discs

clean off a disk and see if that helps. if it doesn't, the laser lens inside the PS3 may be dirty. you may have to have someone check, if nothing works, to see if the laser itself has broken. also, listen to hear if the guts are working at all.

White lines while sending/copying

Everything seems to indicate a dirty 'corona wire'. This seems to be the most common cause of vertical white lines running the length of a page when copying/sending. Below is a link to the User's guide for your machine with instructions for cleaning the corona and other care when using your fax machine. Best of luck.

Always says disc error

dirty laser, or bad laser all together.

First step would be to clean the laser with a dry q-tip.

If that doesn't work then you'll have to replace the laser.

That's pretty much it.

Best of luck!

My xbox 360 reads my disc then says open tray it want let me play

You have a dirty or faulty laser. You can try a DVD player cleaning kit. If that doesn't work then you need to have the laser replaced. Thanks!
