Question about GWC AA1500 External Sound System

2 Answers

I bought a Gwc aa1500 5.1 audio usb adapter for my laptop. I tried plugging my axpro headphones into the adapter but all the audio seems to be coming through the front speakers. How can i get it to go through all the speakers? i downloaded the vista drivers but i have 7 and i cant seem to find drivers for 7.

This is an issue with the driver or configuration.

Make sure you have the latest updated drivers for the device

When sound is coming from front for 5.1 system, its most probably to do with settings.Stereo mode Outputs from front speakers only. Try finding a radio button inside sound settings for 5.1 Audio system.

It is most probably found under " Speaker Configuration" Settings.

All you have to do is right click the little volume icon on your taskbar beside the time in the bottom right hand corner. Choose playback devices you should see a list of the playback devices on your laptop click and press set default on the bottom. Plug your speakers in and enjoy the sound.

My headphone plug has broke of in my laptop so i have no sound output what do i do ??

Hmmm..
1. You have to use a small pair of "needle nose" pliers to get that out of the jack.

2. Invest in a set of USB headphones or Bluetooth headphones while you try to get the plug out of the jack.

USB headphones ($20 ~ $50)

Hope this helps...

If your adapter has a stereo mini male plug, you will probably have to buy a headphone adapter plug and use the headphone jack on the stereo for your input connection.

Possibly, your adapter of small to big is not a stereo adapter. Seems like a mono adapter.
