Hi Lizzie,

The DSTT / DSTTi cards don't work with the newest Nintendo kernels, so you may need to upgrade your card. You can probably swap your DSTT card for a newer card like the Acekard 2i, Supercard DSTWO, Cyclo DS iEvolution, or frankly any of a number of cards that will work on the new DSi Xl and 3DS consoles. I would personally recommend the Supercard DSTWO, though, I use it myself. It also has GBA emulation built-in which is kind of awesome if you want to play older games. The Acekard 2i is cheaper, but doesn't have the GBA functionality.

I'm not sure where you're based but if you're in the US, use "dsmagazine" as a voucher (I found this on an online DS news site) for DSCardWorld.com, they're authorised retailers of the Acekard and Supercard - I think also a few others. NDS-gear.com is probably better if you live in the Europe or in the UK though since they have cheaper shipping there. They still stock authentic cards so you should be all right either way.

Good luck, and please kindly upvote my answer if you've found it useful! :-)

My nintendo ds lite game card wont load. what can i do? Its a DSTT card. The screen loads with all the health and saftey info and it shows what game i can play but when i choose the game the top screen...

It's either bad connection between memory card and DSTT or it needs a DSTT rom update or....your DS has an issue. I have several DS's that are all quite happy to play various game cards but I have one that does just as you are describing. I have cleaned it, checked it, tried everything but it just wont work. I have decided in my case is probably a CPU or DS firmware problem.
If the DS is a copy then I would suggest changing the motherboard (£50 on the net, or replacement copies are out there for £35 but there will be no guarantee with those)

My ttds menu wont load i get the red face ive tried all solutions like format and reload but keeps happening its worked fine for a year previously

Hello,
I wrote this tutorial for people who have a clone (fake) DSTT (sold in a carton box , instead of a plastic blister) which stopped working after they updated their DSTT's with firmware 1.16 . Also when you have a clone card you can make it ''genuine'' by flashing it with this tutorial. The fake .bin file in the fake/clone dstt wil be replaced with a genuine .bin file so you can use every firmware even from the REAL DSTT site.

1. Download the recovery files here : http://rapidshare.com/files/176149098/DSTTRecovery.exe
2. Open DSTTRecovery.exe .
3. Fill in the path of your MicroSD, for example . D: or E: , and click ''Install''
4. The files who will be needed to recover your DSTT will be placed on the MicroSD.
5. Put your MicroSD in your dstt , turn on your NDS and start ''FakeRecovery.nds'' (sometimes it takes up to 60 start-ups).
6. The Recovery Utility will load things, this can take a while..
7. You must press ''A'' , after a few secs it asks you to press ''A'' another time.
8. If the flashing is succeeded you'll see a message on your screen that the recovery was successful
9. Use firmware 1.15 don't use 1.16 because after a while your fake card will be bricked again.
download v1.15 at http://www.dstt.nl/download.html

My ttdsi it has an i because it is for dsi is not working it keeps on sayin error pease read the dsi instruction manual i read the manual and it didn't help so can someone pease tell me what to do to fix...

Hello Luke,
I am assuming that you have a dstti card in it so you can play copied games??

If so then what you need to do is remove the Sd memory card out of the dstt cartridge card and connect it to your Pc.

GO TO : http://www.ndstt.com/
click DOWNLOADS
go down to kernel V1.17
download this and unpack this to your memory stick.
then put it back into your dstt card then back into your Dsi.
with the dsi it does not load the same as a normal ds. when it loads click the memory card option then it will load normally with the dstt menu screen for you to choose whatever game you like.

Hope this has helped you out.

Cheers Little Dish Fitter.

TTDS comes on with "Menu?"

Hello,

A red menu icon usually means that there's the wrong version of the software installed. You should be able to download the correct software for your DSTT off the official www.ndstt.com website. If it doesn't work still then I'm afraid you might have a fake card.

If you suspect that you have unstable fake clone version you can get a genuine DSTT card. http://www.dscardworld.com I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others. Loved having my emails responded to because I had loads of questions, and they were quick to ship it. They test each card before sending them. US based support and shipping I believe.

Cant get ndstt card to work help

do you mean the ds menu comes up as in the screen you get when there is no cartridge installed? or does it come up with a dstt menu screen but nothing else happens? if its the first then theres the possibility that you have a defective cartridge, i have had 2 of these, sent them back and got replacements. if its the second then you should check out the many great videos that helped hundreds on youtube. i never had probs with dstt carts but had initial probs with r4 carts and found the answers i wanted on good old youtube, hope that helps, let us know.

Ttds card not loading

Did you install the firmware/software for the DSTT? Download the DSTT software, unzipped it and transfer it to the DSTT card and see whether it works. http://www.nds-gear.com/software-dstt.zip

NDSTT startup problems

Update To My Original Post:

I managed to get the "errant" cards back to the supplier, who issued me with new/replacement DSTT cards, and all is now fine!

I put the original Micro-SD cards back in, and fired up the DS' fitted with the new DSTT cards and all work completely as expected. I've had absolutely no start-up issues. They work first time, everytime - so far. Problem looks to have been "dodgy" DSTT cards.

Hope this helps.
