No Heat

3 flashes indicate an issue with either the inducer, pressure switch, plugged condensate drain or a venting restriction.

Clear all debris from the exhaust and intake air piping. Make sure they are not drooping anywhere.
Check the pressure switch and the rubber hoses for blockage.
Blow out the drain line that evacuates the condensation.
On the inducer motor housing, un- plug the rubber hose going to the pressure switch and check to see if there is suction when the motor is running.
Make sure your air filter is clean.
Listen to the inducer motor as it turns for gurgling or any other abnormal sounds.

To make the heater run while you have the cabinet open, tape down the door safety switch. Remove the tape after diagnosos.

Blowing cold air is there a pilot to light

No pilot on this model. If the room air blower is constantly running it is telling you that there is an error code stored on the circuit board. Look for a small viewing port in the lower section of the furnace. Look in it for a flashing light. Count the number of blinks. Now remove the front panel and on the reverse side there will be a wiring diagram. Also on the wiring diagram there will be a Diagnostic Chart that will explain the blinks. If you remove the panel that opens the door safety switch, it will cut power to the unit and erase the code so find the viewing port first.

Hello,
If I am correct and 3 red flashes and 1 green then that is E31 which is normally a heater fault but can also be a faulty pressure switch or main programmer. This machine is covered by the 5 year major parts warranty.Does not cover the heater and it is normally the heater for that code. You can either get an Electrolux engineer to call out or your local service guy but be warned that only genuine heaters can be used on these machines they have safe fail fuse links in these elements.

Hope this was helpful.

Heater does not stay running shuts down may or may not come back on

I hope your pool heater is still running! Anyway you mentioned that when you reinstall the heater door the heater turns off.

This is my personal experience with this; there is no switch on the door, keep that in mind; so ask yourself: when you remove the door are there any wires touching or resting against the inside door panel?

if so its possible that one of the wires in a connector is broken, the crazy thing is you cant see the broken wire that is causing your intermittent issue.

What I did was cut off all of the wire connectors and installed new ones, now the heater is running like a champ.

Good luck

MHU45LP won't fire

The pressure switch to which you are referring is the switch connected to the suction side of your induced draft fan. This pressure switch will have a hose connected between the switch and the induced draft fan. Please let me know if you need any more assistance.
