Question about PANDIGITAL (DPF802) Digital Picture Frame

Open Question

I have a Pandigital unit that i've had for several years. I don't know the model number, but when I turn it on, I see the following: 07_09_03_PD_INX9 I have a corrupted file that I can't delete. My pictures cycle through until the corrupted file tries to display and the unit stops at that point. the file name is: IMG]0454.JPG and when I try to delete it, I get the following message: Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk. I have tried deleting uning my PC, from the unit itself. Nothing seems to work. I've tried resetting the unit back to Factory Default, but that didn't work either. Mike

SOURCE: USB Connection

Hi Amanda and Lisa. Are you making sure the picture frame is off BEFORE you plug it in to your computers? Make sure you:
Turn it off before pluging it in, then plug in the USB cable. Now you can turn on the picture frame and you should see the frame's memory and any SD cards you have plugged into it in the removable drives section.
Let me know if that helps. If not let me know, and thanks for coming to FixYa. If you're happy with my answer then don't forget to rate it appropriately.

Hey,

the frame should show up in computer or "my computer" in start menu or on the desktop.
It will be named as "Removable storage device" inside The computer folder.

Double clicking on it will get to its contents, and you can copy pictures in there. Let me know what you see in there.

I have a Pandigital Supernova 8" tablet (I think it's model number R80B452). When I turn it on, the startup screen (white and blue with Pandigital in the upper right corner) just keeps flashing on and off...

there is a pin hole sized opening on the back of this tablet. This is the reset switch. turn the unit on then take a small paperclip or a pin and put it in the hole and push. you should feel the switch click. hold it for about 2 seconds then release. then turn it back on.

I can confirm that your unit IS IN THE LIST of potentially affected refrigerators. Please read the article below:

POTENTIAL BEKO REFRIGERATOR FIRE RISK AND RECALL NOTICE
I would normally give a pointer to articles I have already posted this response on, but as this is such a potentially serious matter, I have posted my entire response here for you.

According to several sources I have checked, including most importantly, BEKO's own website, the MODEL numbers (not serial numbers) affected by the recall are as follows:

The fridges affected were manufactured between January 2000 and October 2006. After shipping and sitting around in shops, you can probably extend that margin to machines SOLD between 2000 and 2008. The first 2 digits of the serial numbers indicate the year of manufacture, so if your serial number doesn't start 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05 or 06 you don't even need to check.

If you go to the BEKO website, there is a link to check your serial number:

https://refsafety.beko.co.uk/

The site also provides a mail address and a UK Freefone number that you can call (Though I've tried the number and it keeps cutting me off!! I presume they are swamped with calls)
