Machine was running, it quit and has not ran since. This happened last week. I did change out the switch thinking that may be the problem.

Tom, the motor has probably burnt out, if you dismantle machine you could test motor directly to prove faulty or just replace machine.

Brush wont move and its not the belt

If the belt is not broken, most likely the brush roller needs replacing. If the brush roller turns freely then it is likely the pulley on the motor that drives the belt.

I will like to know the part # for the on-off swicth of Proteam 1500

The part number is 105147. It can be ordered here: http://www.monsterjanitorial.com/proteam/p198/Proteam_105147_-_Switch,_Handle/product_info.html?osCsid=en87jr2q4166a52t513qvc1fb7

I've include a link to the parts diagram for future reference.

You can also buy the switch from your local Aerus Electrolux store. It's the same machine as the Ultralux upright. For the store nearest you, follow the below link.

Our Proteam ProForce 1500 is 1 year old. The vacuum works (****) in the hardwood floor setting on the switch. The beater works on the other setting but it won't **** and beat at the same time. What is...

It may be something to do with the actual switch on this unit.

I have a feeling it may have to do with the wiring on the switch itself, perhaps one of the wires have come off or burned on the contact.

Is it something you could fix? maybe, open up where the switch is on the back there and see what is going on. If it needs a connector that you dont have, solder works too.

good luck.

Proteam Pro force 1500xp Upright vacuum... When I switch to the carpet setting I have no suction power but the beater bar is turning. If I switch back to the floors setting, the suction is excellent. ...

Just undo the screws on the front part of the switch assembly, carefully check all the leads to the switch. Mine slide off all the time as the switch is poorly designed and subject to damage when the darn thing tips over (easily!!!) new switches are about 7.50 USD.

Cannot remove attachment from proteam super quarter vac

Greetings, The ProTeam backpacks us a 1.5" hose and attachments. The way that the floor tool is removed is by unscrewing the collar of the attachment. Simply turn counter clockwise on the the part of the attachment that is secured to the wand and doesn't rotate. This should loosen the floor attachment, and you may then pull it off. The other floor attachment can be fitted, and then screwed on by rotating the opposite way, clockwise which will secure the attachment to the wand. I really hope that this information was helpful to you. If you ever need parts or supplies for your ProTeam, please be sure to check out GoVacuum dot com. If this was helpful to you, please rate the repair as helpful by clicking the 4 Thumbs up icons in the top part of the repair. Thank you very much, Chris J. GoVacuum
