Things sadly do not look good. If the security rating on it is set to Max on the drive, recovering the password for the drive is next to impossible. The only way to make the drive usable again is to perform a low level format using FDISK which does not care about passwords. If the data is important however, you may need to check a drive recovery expert like DriveSavers.
