Question about Sony KV-27S42 27" TV
Hi Dan, my Sony doesn't blink or doing anything when I plug it to the wall, I remove the C5426 which I think it is 2SC5426. What is the number should I get when I use a ohm meter to measure either leg? When the transistor was on the board, I got about 69 volts from most of the ground and about 60 volts from some of the positive component. What do you think?

The 2 blinks is an indication of overcurrent. That translates into a short somwhere inside the set. since you can get sound but no picture, that suggests that the problem is in the high voltage section. The most common failure there is the Horizontal Output Transistor. This is a 3 legged part attached to a heatsink close to the flyback transformer (part with large red wire coming out the top). That part should be marked C5438 or something similar. Post the marking here and I'll give you the complete part number.
