Question about Coffee Makers & Espresso Machines
This happens when the unit has had too much scales from previous coffee making. Scales are those sediments from coffee which attach themselves to the body of the inner chambers of the coffee machine. Scales usually cause blockages in various parts of the unit and therefore cause the unit not to function well as it should. Refer to your user manual on best methods to use for descaling as the procedure differs from unit to unit.

Have you tried running a batch of water/vinegar mix through the unit? Most of the problems result from buildup of deposits. The water/vinegar mix usually does the trick.
