You have to make sure your computer boots from the disc drive first and not the hard drive. To do that you need to go into your bios and set the boot priority to boot from the disc drive as the first device.

What do u when your system is rebooting on its own

If your system is rebooting on its own then first step is to make sure that your system is free from viruses. The best way to check it is run a scan on your system with a good and updated anti virus.

If any viruses found then the best option is you can format your system.
After scanning if viruses are not found then the best option is to repair your system .

Repairing your system will not affect your data.

Thanks..

Voicemail feature does not work. Says 'INACTIVE'

Unplug your voicemail system from the electrical outlet for 1 minute, then plug it back in. This should clear any glitches in the system when it reboots. It may take up to 15 minutes to completely reboot. If the system still does not work after that, it may be in need of repair. You can search for local repair right here on FixYa.com.
Good Luck!

XP Keeps Rebooting at Startup

Hi,
Most likely it is your hard drive. There is a boot sector on the hard drive and when xp starts it looks for that boot sector. If that boot sector is damaged xp can't find it so xp reboots again...and again...and... Try a different hard drive and see what happens.

Acer Aspire 3680 start up

This is generally caused by a hard drive failure. You can try to repair or reinstall the operating system with your recovery or operating system disc. If you have any issues or problems during or after the repair/reload then the hard rive has failed and will need to be replaced.
