Question about Nintendo Wii Console
You are using composite cables(red, white, yellow) mine did the same thing. The aquos is all digital, wont read analog, which is what composite cables are.
They now make a component cable for the wii. I paid $28 at b.b.

Are you connected to the new TV using the same resolutions?
sounds like maybe the old tv you were set at a lower resolution?
try changing or adjusting the resolution on the new tv until you can see the menu more clearly or able to navigate the wii to adjust the output for the wii to match your tv's settings.
