When your image is bitmap or higher in size, it does take time to be attached or uploaded to your email. Try saving the file in JPG or have it reduced in size.

Step 1 Tap the "Mail" app on your iPad's home screen, tap "Other" and tap "Mail Account." If you already have an email account set up, tap the "Settings" icon on the home screen, tap "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" in the sidebar and tap "Add Account."
Step 2 Type your name into the "Name" box using the onscreen keyboard. You can enter any name you want; your iPad sends this name with each email you send.
Step 21 Type your full AOL email address in the form "Name@aol.com" into the "Address" box. If you have an AOL email address with a different domain, such as "@games.com" or "@love.com," use that domain instead.
Step 31 Enter your AOL email password into the "Password" box.
Step 41 Type a description for your email account into the "Description" box and tap "Next."
Step 51 Tap "IMAP" at the top of the New Account pane.
Step 61 Type "Imap.aol.com" into the "Host Name" box under "Incoming Mail Server."
Step 71 Type "Smtp.aol.com" into the "Host Name" box under "Outgoing Mail Server."
Step 81 Enter your full AOL email address into the "Username" boxes under both "Incoming Mail Server" and "Outgoing Mail Server."
Step 91 Enter your AOL email password into the "Password" boxes under "Incoming Mail Server" and "Outgoing Mail Server."
Step 101 Tap "Next." Your iPad verifies the settings.

Id like to send text thru yahoo do i have to pay for it ? How much it will cost me before I register. thanks.. norma

hello

Yahoo, like many other email accounts you can set up, does not cost anything. if you are on the internet, simply go to the site sign in or register your information. Once done, you have access to yahoo email to send and receive as you wisah , within the policy setforth by yahoo. remeber, that you have a maximum amount of memory youc an send in an email at one time. So if youw ant to send an attachement or image or video, it is maximised by yahoo rules and regulations

I asked a question nearly a week ago about my Epson scanner, gave you my credit card number, and still haven't got an answer. What a rip off!

Sorry about the problem. I'll see if I can help. Your question may not have been properly posted, and was just missed.

Let's see if we can take care of your problem. Please send me an email to: EinsteinAnswers@aol.com

Include in your email all relevant information - such as your computer's operating system (XP, Vista, etc.) and the Manufacturer and Model number of your Scanner - along with describing the exact problem you are having.

I'll perform the needed research and - if possible - will provide a timely answer for you.

Thank you,

You wont lose your account.

Have you resent/altered security settings? if so reset to default, then try, if it fails, would be quicker to reload latest version/update. AOL can be finicky at times.

Configuring my aol mail to outlook 2003 I want to use Outlook to send a email newsletter,I think I can send it in outllk where ,the newsletter will open ,when the email is opened in Outlook ,with aol. I...

Aol uses proprietary software, I have never used it as it takes over your computer slows everything down and is a pain in the neck in general. I doubt that outlock which is a pop3 email program is going to work with AOL, unless they have updated their system. The best thing that you can do is to remove it from your machine, and use the MSFT outlook or outlook express. Or even Gmail oe Hotmail if you like that web based format. To set uo your outlook, just launch the program and use the wizard in outlook or outlook express to run you through the setup process. It will need the settings that you got from your ISP, like the names of the incoming and outgoing servers, if aol is your high sped provider it will have a name like xxx.aol.com, and smtp.aol.com, then your name and email address with password, then you won't need that aol stuff. I just used aol as an example, like for example something like secureserver.secure.net, and smtp.comcast.net, and they will be pop3 servers, aol is a web based like a web page, not an application, outlook is just far superior in every way, on your isp'd home page you should find all the info, under setting up your email, good luck

Open iPhoto Hi-light the photo or photos you want to send. Select the drop down menu 'share' Select email You will be asked to select the size that you want to send, the larger the size the longer it will take to send. Once you have selected the size then select compose and Mail will open with the photo(s) attached. You can now add any text that you want and then send your email

Photo size too large for email

You can do that in 2 ways.

1) Shoot the photo or video in reduced size (less quality). This can achieved by adjusting the settings in your camera.

2) Use 3rd party software like photoshop or Microsoft paint to manually reduce the size using it.
