HELP WHERE IS THE FUSE

SOURCE: When trying to replace my

Wouldn't expect a fuse to be the problem with those symptoms.

You need to fish out the old bulbs (that is, the last ones you had that worked for any period of time) and read the ratings off them. You are particularly interested in a number followed by a capital V (so this might be 12V, 120V, 230V or any of a number of others). This is the supply voltage they are are compatible with.

You need to be sure you buy replacements which have the same voltage rating. If your replacements are rated for a lower voltage, they will expire in a blaze of glory the instant you apply power. If they're rated for a higher voltage, they'll glow very dim and yellow.

You have a little more leeway withthe wattage rating (a number followed by a W, eg 15W, 25W). It's safe to go lower (though less bright), and probably OK to go a tiny bit higher but if you go much further than the enclosure is designed for, you risk problems with overheating.

If you're certain you have the right bulbs but the problem hasn't gone away, you'll need to come back with more information. It might help to know: Brand & model of the hood in question, what rating (both V and W) the bulbs are, how long they last, what it looks like when they blow (bright white light, or brilliant blue flash), what it says on the rating plate of the hood, and what part of the world you live in (tells us what the power supply is like).

But my first guess would still be that the new bulbs are the wrong type.

You have to just force a flat head screwdriver in the gap (the inner gap) and pry out the cover.

How to change the light

There are three different models... two wall models (the WL24 and the WL36) and an island model (the IS24). The instructions for changing the lights on all three models are the same.

Light bulb:

  • Make sure your hood is disconnected from the main power supply.
  • You may see a screw at the edge of the light cover. Unscrew it and remove the light cover.
  • Replace the light bulb with the same model as the original. There may be a decal near the bulb that indicates its rating. Don't exceed 25 watts! It's best to bring the old bulb to your store to have it replaced exactly.
Spotlight:

  • Make sure your hood is disconnected from the main power supply.
  • If you don't see a screw, then - using a screwdriver - lever the support ring, then grasp it & pull it straight down and off. This ring supports the glass cover - remove it as well (don't drop it!).
  • Replace the lamp with the same type (12V, 20W, G4 fitting).
  • Replace the glass cover and the support ring - it should snap back in.
Fluorescent light:
  • This needs to be changed by a qualified installer. Don't attempt it yourself.
Good luck!

Hi there, the inner ring that is holding the glass where there are tiny little holes all round. Put a screwdriver on there (not through the hole) and prise it open. It should come off.

How to replace oven light bulb for beko DC543 electric cooker

hi
You may need to remove the glass cover by turning it anti-clockwise.
On some models access to the bulb is from outside so the oven has to be slid out of it's housing and an access plate removed.

chek this following steps..
Step 1 Make sure the bulb is actually burned out. Confirm the oven is plugged in and that a circuit breaker is not tripped.
  • Step 2 Look for the manual to determine what size bulb is required. Most use a 40 watt appliance bulb. If you can not find the manual, then buy a bulb to replace it after you take out the old one.
  • Step 3 Confirm that the oven is not on. Allow it to cool to room temperature if it has recently been used.
  • Step 4 Open the door and use a flashlight to light the area where the bulb is located. Do not put weight on the door itself, but go in at an angle or sideways.
  • Step 5 Find the shield or cover over the bulb, gently pull or twist it off. Some glass covers are surrounded by a wire clip or a ring that is screwed in to the back.
  • Step 6 Gently remove either the wire clip or ring. Since the cover is most likely glass, be cautious. Unscrew the entire glass cover similar to a jar lid in older versions of ovens. Then repeat process if there is more than one bulb.

I just had this very same problem and believe I have solved it!
You can remove the entire light unit from the hood. On first inspection it appears to be a sealed unit that does not allow you to remove either the wires or what looks to be a regular halogen bulb. If you turn the unit so the bulb is facing you, you can gently prise the glass from it's housing leaving the naked halogen bulb exposed beneath it. You can gently pull this from the housing and buy a new one to replace it. I would advise that when installing the new one you make sure it is completely free from any contaminant as any grease etc can greatly reduce the life of the bulb. Hope this helps!
