Question about Probasics Rite Neb #8005 Mini Compressor Nebulizer

1 Answer

I am not getting any mist when I turn on the machine. I am thinking I have put the liquid in the wrong place or I haven't put the pieces of the kit together properly. I have lost the manual, so can't look it up.

Thank you for your input. I actually figured out my problem right after I wrote for help. I had the reservoir piece on top of the tube it attaches to, rather than having it hang upside down! So once I turned the thing over, had all the vapor I needed. Thanks for the instruction manual. I will download it.

This was good information, but I figured out my solution before I received the email. Sending me a copy of the manual that I could download was terrific.

Here is the procedure:
1. Before each use inspect the Probasics Rite-Neb LP Compressor and nebulizer cup assembly for damage or wear, replace as needed.
2. Place the Probasics Rite-Neb LP Compressor on a table or other flat stable surface. Be sure you can easily reach the controls when seated. Do not use this device on the floor.
3. With the power switch in the O (OFF) position, plug the power cord into an appropriate electrical wall outlet.
4. Connect one end of the tubing to the compressor air-outlet connector.
5. Assemble the nebulizer cup and add indicated medication to the nebulizer's cup before use.
6. Attach the other end of the tubing into the air-inlet connector founded at the bottom of the nebulizer cup.
7. Turn on the Probasics Rite-Neb LP Compressor by pressing the power switch to the I (ON) position and begin treatment.
8. If treatment needs to be interrupted, simply press power switch to O (OFF) position.

How to replace the dog kit in agitator
To replace the dog kit in the agitator, remove the top cap/rinse dispenser and the inner bolt cover. Remove the 7/16" bolt and lift the agitator out of the washer. Separate the upper and lower pieces of the agitator and replace the dog kit inside the upper part of the agitator. Make sure the 4 pieces remain in place while putting the agitator back together.

Putting the base together

When i put my Fieldcrest Armoire together the base connected fairly easily to the other 3 pieces. Are you sure that you followed the instructions very carefully and haven't mistakenly mixed up some of the wooden pieces? I would re-read the instruction manual very carefully again and if you are sure you've followed the correct steps, you can contact the place where you bought it as maybe they gave you a wrong piece. Good luck.

I haven't made bread in my breadmachine for many years. I can remember which ingredients go in the machine first. Dry or liquid?

As long as you are making bread after you put the ingredients in it doesn't make any difference. In general I usually put the yeast in last. If you are using the delay timer then you MUST always put the yeast in last so it doesn't touch the liquid. Do you need an operators manual? I have some.

I do daycare a parent brought me the nebuilzers/breathing machine it sounds like is on but I see no mist or vapor I disesemble to see if i feel air and i do but i see no vapor mother tells me it just...

Is there distilled water or liquid medication in the container? If not, all that will come out is air. There should be an adjustment valve on the hand-held part of the nebulizer, that adjusts the liquid flow and turns it into a mist.

Removing the ceiling mount from the ceiling of a hampton ceiling

Sometimes there is a small trim piece where the canopy meets the ceiling that "snaps" into place and rather than turning to unlock it needs to be gently pryed off. If you have a small trim piece that makes more than about 1/8 of a turn without unlocking. that is definately what you have.

Family Care cold mist humidifer

cool mist humidifiers don't put out any mist. only the warm ones do. now if you put your hand over the area where it's coming out for about 2 minutes and take it away your hand should feel damp. almost clammy. if it feels like that the unit is working fine. so your not doing anything wrong. if you have any other concerns please let me know.

There is no mist coming out of the neb machine.

No! don't buy a new machine. First wash the mask, tubes and any other washable part really well by hand. There could be some dryed on fluid blocking the flow of the liquid. Then make sure that the part where you put the liquid does not have liquid on top of the ******** part. Usually a bit of shaking off of the liquid or using a paper towel to dry that part off should help. If this doesn't work let the nebulizer dry out overnight with all parts seperate. I constantly have these kinds of problems with my nebulizer and these seem to do the trick if these don't work then you might need a new machine.

i don't really have a writen step-by-step procedure written as i only did it once, but i will try to point you in the right direction from memory:

1) WITH THE MACHINE UNPLUGGED take off the rectangular panel off the back of the machine. once off, the compressor is accessable on the left.

2) on the front of the compressor, there is plastic housing with wires going into it...you need to take this apart to get access to the starter relay - it is either 2 or 3 pieces that screw/snap together; it should be obvious enough to get it apart. keep track of where the wires are going on the 3 compressor pins as they will be going back onto the same places on the compressor.

3) there should be a small white plastic piece on the bottom 2 pins of the compressor - that is the starter relay - it should pull off. one sure sign it is bad is that it sounds like it has loose parts in it when you shake it.

4) the wire connected to the top pin of the compressor is the product saver (if you follow the wire back a little you will see there is a small round part with a metal piece - i think it is actually attached to the plastic housing from step #2. you will need to remove this wire and small round part - it isn't needed as the kit has a different style replacement for it. the good news is that you shouldn't have to cut anything as it should be a removable cable with a spade lug on the end.

5) take the new parts from the kit and put them on the compressor pins (i can't remember exactly, but you won't have to use the long red wire which comes in the kit, but you will use everything else). plug the wires you took off in steps #3/#4 and put them back in the same locations on the new parts.

6) put the 2 or 3 piece plastic housing from step #2 back together.

7) put the rectangular panel back on the machine.

this should be close enough to get you there.
