There is likely an obstruction in the drain pipe of your house. You'll have to clear it out.

Your drain pipe it's too low. It needs to be a certain distance above the ground.

My used Kenmore washer fills with water then the water level drops downto about the half way level in drum. I just bought it used and installed it yesterday. Could the water be siphoning out into drain...

It sounds as if it is siphoning out the drain pipe. You have to get the drain pipe up to the top of the washer and also be sure that the pipe is a little bigger than the drain hose or it will siphon. Hope this helps.

Machine is draining as it fills, can not rinse due to this. What may be causing this?

If the drain hose is laying down then the water will flow out as it fills. The drain hose should empty into a 2 inch drain pipe that is about as high as the top of the washer.

I have a kenmore model 110 top loading washing machine that keeps draining and wont fill up but sometimes it does and sometimes it does not. Help!

Your drain hose is too far down into the pipe behind the washer. What's happening is your drain hose is actually siphoning water from th washer the same time its trying to fill up. Pull the drain hose up from the drain pipe and secure it so its doesnt fly out when the washer is draining. Check too see if the problem goes away. If not pull the drain hose out more repeat steps.

Top loaing washer fills then mostly empties repeatedly

Check you drain line. It may be too low or the air gap is blocked at the drain pipe.
A test is remove the drain pipe from the wall drain. Hold it up high and turn the washer on to fill.
If it fills and stops, then starts agitation. Repair the drain hose.

I have a kenmore 80 series washer and it won't fill up some times

It sounds like a siphon issue so nothing should be broken.
Check that the drain hose does a high loop before it goes into the drain pipe. (ie. drain hose loops above the water level inside the tub). Make sure the drain hose is not pushed too far down into the drain pipe. Also if the drain hose is sealed to the drain pipe this will create an airlock and a siphon will occur, allow air to enter between drain hose and drain pipe connection.
This should help you but if there is still a problem let me know and I'll try to assist you further.
Good luck!

Kenmore washer fills and spins at the same time

If the washer has been recently moved the drain hose may be too far down the stand pipe causing a siphoning effect
