It vaccum but it is really loud i dont know if there is something stuck in it or what is causing the problem.

It could be due to a stretched or worn drive belt. Here is a link to the owners manual which has instructions and a link to the belt you need.

also, check the hose to make sure that a foreign object isn't blocking airflow. Next, make sure the airflow switch is set correctly. Many models have a switch that changes the suction from the main vacuum to the hose attachment.

Need instructions to reassemble Eureka vacuum
Posted by TamiLynn on Jun 18, 2008
I had to completely disassemble my Eureka Whirlwind Lite Model 410 bagless vacuum due to an excessive amount of debris that collected in an inconspicuous spot and now that I've reassembled it sounds like something from the motor is rubbing inside somewhere as if I put it together incorrectly. Do you have any schematics on what the insides should look like so I can put it together properly?

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. The best way to get the schematics is to contact the Eureka Factory @ the listing I will give you below. Sometimes the owners manual have the schematics in the owners manual but if not they might be down loaded from the factory website or to contact them by phone

And ask for cust serv or the serv tech support or parts for the schematics. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Tear in Eureka Upright "The Boss" 4870
Posted by kdunnett on Jun 07, 2008
I have a tear in the hose of an upright Eureka "The Boss" 4870 vacuum. I cannot find how to release the parts I need to get the hose out and put in a new hose (which I already have) I've searched the Eureka site and the owner's manual - nothing about how to replace the hose itself. Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Eureka 431A Optima Bagless Upright Vacuum. In answer to your question, the owner’s manual may or may not give an example to install the hose only, but on most vacuums the hose sometimes will screw in to the hose cuff on both ends unless if it is a hose assm then it will then twist and turn. Check with the
Eureka website and have them send out a schematic and owner’s manual for you so that you can install your hose properly. Sometimes you have to place hose glue on the end of each side in order for the hose to screw in properly. the website address will be listed below and they certainly should supply you with the owners’ manual and maybe a schematic of the parts breakdown that also may help. If not; check with your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. We need to know the Brand name and Model # for the item B4 we can get you directions. I suggest that if for example, it is a Hoover or Eureka then go to the website address of Hoover.com or Eureka.com to find a cust serv phone # and then call them for the owners manual of that particular vacuum. . So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
