Does your dhcp on network setting in manual or automatic mode?
if in manual, you have to change it to automatic. it will reconfigured automatically when connect to new network.

I've got an Acer aspire one d225 ,& it has wifi problem

Turn on your computer and locate the Wi-Fi icon. This could be located on the upper row on a laptop it will have the radiation look ((())) Make sure its pressed on. The internet connection is located in the system tray in the bottom-right corner of the screen. The icon looks like a series of rectangles that increase in from left to right. Right-click the Wi-Fi icon and select "Connect to a network." You will see a list of available wireless networks. Wireless Acer laptop can be a massive boon to your productivity when it is working properly and a massive headache when it is not. When your laptop card begins to exhibit undesirable symptoms, such as signal dropping, you can avoid a hefty repair bill by performing at-home troubleshooting. The best solution is to merely reinstall the software driver, which refers to the program that the operating system uses to speak the wireless card's language.

Open your operating manual and look up the model name and number for your laptop. Navigate to the Acer Support web page (see Below) and click on the "Downloads" link. http://support.acer.com/ Input the model number of your laptop, click on the "Search" button, download the wireless driver file for your laptop model and save the file to your desktop. Open the "Start" menu, click on "Control Panel" and open "Device Manager." Open the "Network Adapters" menu, double-click on your wireless card, select the "Drivers" tab, click on the "Update Drivers" button and choose the desktop as the location to search for new drivers. Click "Next" to reinstall the driver, fixing your wireless woes.

My acer 5735z has stopped connecting to the wireless internet, it does work when I have the cable in

Go to SafeMode with Networking and check if the wireless is detecting any networks, if yes, issue is with the Security Software or else, reinstall the Wireless Network adpater driver from Acer recvoery manager.

Connectss to wireless, variable connection to internet

I would check Services to see if some like WLAN Autoconfig is set to something other than Automatic and is changing with Demand. Try setting anything to do with networking to Automatic if it already isn't.

Can I use my acer aspire one wirless with bthomehub2. I can connect with cable

Not sure of what your issue is,you can connect to the internet by cable/DSL but not to your home wireless network?,or another wireless network? either way most wireless networks ask for a user code or password.Does the network appear with an open lock symbol or locked.Even if it's your network you have to grant access.Good Luck.

My wireless is enabled but isn't picking up any network - how can I fix this? Router seems to be fine as can pick up on my i-pod no problem (acer aspire 5735)

Make sure your in range. If using windows, goto start>run>services.msc (as an administrator) find Wireless Zero Config and make sure it is started or restart it. This should bring up the wireless icon near the clock, right click it and click view wireless networks (on xp). refresh the list and see if your network is displayed.
I'm not sure how the i-pod displays wireless SSID's but you may have your SSID hidden, which would have to be reconfigured on the router or you could go to "change priority of wifi networks" then manually enter the SSID name and connection info and set it as the highest priority. Also if your using other wireless software besides windows. Try going into that program and setting it to use windows wireless zero config service, I've had better luck w/ it over Dlink,Belkin and even Intel's software.

In addition check the driver by right-clicking on "My Computer">manage>device properties under network adapters if you see a yellow exclamation you need to reinstall your driver, A red X would indicate that it is disabled and needs re-enabled.

Can you help me where to find an ethernet driver for my acer?

Acer Aspire 5735?
Right here,

http://gd.panam.acer.com/home/

If this just comes up with the Acer Pan-Am home page, and not the exact driver download page, for the Acer Aspire 5735 that I linked, do this,

1.In the left hand light blue column, click on Drivers & Downloads.

2.To the right will be a small window, that states -> Select Product Family.
Click on Notebook.

3.Another small window will come up -> Select Product Line.
Click on Aspire.

4.Another small window will come up -> Select Product Model.
Use the slider on the right of the Select Product Model window. Click on the down arrow of the slider.
When it scrolls down to Aspire 5735, click on it.

(Make SURE you do not have the Aspire 5735Z. Look on the bottom of the laptop. This model number will be stated, if so. If it is the Aspire 5735Z, click on it)

Once you click on the Product Model you have, the drivers will be shown at the bottom.
Click on -> Lan......Marvell......LAN Driver (LAN = Local Area Network. This is your Ethernet driver)

Acer aspire lost internet connection how do i connect

Look on the Function keys on the keyboard (the F1 through F12 keys) Do you see a wireless icon on one of the keys? If you do, then look for a Function (Fn) key on the keyboard. Press and hold Fn, while holding Fn, press the funtion key with the wireless icon (example: the wireless icon is on the F2 key; press and hold the Fn key, while holding the Fn key, press F2, release both keys).

Acer aspire will not connect to wireless network

Does your home router have a password? The only thing I can think of doing is removing all the preferred access points from your wireless card's utility or windows (located at start => Setting => Net connections => Wireless => Wireless Networks.

Then add your home access point back.
