Question about Dryers

Bosch Classixx WTL6003GB. Fails to heat. I have replaced the reset button & the element, to no avail, whats my next fail possibility? I notice now that the small printed circuit board on the top right of the machine (as you look at it from the front) seems to be brown/discoloured around two of the resistors, could it be this, and what is its function? Dest regards dave

Bottom element has failed. Probably 2 screws at rear to remove & replace. Disconnect fast-ons from rear - extract element - replace. best to get electrician to do this - simple job & element should be inexensive. - Rick

Open front panel, remove heat exchanger and clean.
Unplug the dryer. remove the panel in the back of the dryer that covers the heating element. ( the inner panel). On top of the heating element you will see a thermal sensor with a small red button on it. Thats the manual reset button To test if the heating element is working properly you can disconnect the wires from the sensor and clip the connectors together . Plug the dryer back in and start it. pay attention to the heating element. It should begin to glow shortly. if it doesn't then your heating element is bad and needs to be replaced.

Unplug the dryer. Connect the wires back to the thermal sensor. Plug the dryer back in. Before you start the dryer, press the red button on the switch. This is your reset button. Start the dryer. If the heating element doesn't come on and dryer doesn't heat, then you need to replace that sensor.

I have bosch classic, the fuse goes off after 5

Make sure you hace a 13 amp fuse fitted in plug.
Could be a faulty heater element.
Locate heater, remove connections to heater and try without the
heater.
If it still blows, then could be a faulty motor, unplug motro, and try again.
Hope this helps.

Water not heating,element testing ok

Hi there

if element changed recently when it failed it may have damged heater relay on back of control module if the heater or this has failed you will only get a cold wash on any prog they will take nearly four hours to finish if it takes normal time to wash but doesnt heat will probably be an ntc fault this is attached to heater and easy to replace.

My bosch dishwasher dosnt get hot the element is ok

Does it have a thermostat that you can set the temperature seperately? If so, i would check the over temp thermostat firstly.(possibly it has a push button reset.) Normally found near the element,If good, check the temperature thermostat.Unfortunately, it requires using a tester to check for continuety.and resistence. Normally, that should solve the problem.(Im taking it that the element is ok as you have stated).

My Bosch Classixx 1200 washer causes the household RCD to trip

The first thing I would recommend u do is to remove the motor and check the carbons for wear, Their should be at least 3mm of carbon showing, any less then u shud replace.
The other possibility is a faulty heater element, u cud try it with the element disconnected, if it does not trip then the element is faulty.
Plz rate my solution.
thanks.
