    sorry its HW-C1460TVE-U

  • Michael Crozier Mar 12, 2011

Haier is the make but AA 6kg means energy rating and drum size. If you open the door the model number will be on a sticker on the inside. Should start with a letter

  • ste_rowland2 Mar 12, 2011

also is there a special way of fitting the belt ie. tension iv actualy got a belt but seems way too small the number on belt is VC021095

Think that is the same belt used on all of haier washers. if you take it to a spares place they should be able to match it up or order online from Haier spares direct. If the motor is on the bottom then it is a matter of hooking it first around the spindle of the motor and then putting as much on as possible around the big pulley then turn the pulley slowly holding the belt on at the same time till it stretches over. Its the only way. Hope this helps

What is the fabric type belt on the front of the drum drum used for ?

that's the drum seal, that isn't a good model number, you have to replace the drum seal gasket,it holds the heat in the drum and also the clothes,if it isn't torn you can glue it back on,there should be another seal on the back of drum too.go here, put the model number in and you can look at all the parts in your dryer.
open the door, look around the opening where you put the clothes in and you'll see the tag with the model number

A technician stated my alternator belt has a slight long can I continue to drive with the crack

Nobody can tell when that alternator belt will snap, but the crack means its time to change it.
For precautionary and preventive maintenance purposes, the mechanic just advises you to change that belt before it will snap in the middle of nowhere.
If I were you I will follow the advise!
Hope that clears all the doubts!

My dryer belt from my Whirlpool model number lgr7646dq1 snapped off and I need a diagram how the belt goes back on. I already purchased a replacment belt but do not know how it goes back on. Thanks Richard

the belt number 341241, that should be packaged with a diagram as how to wind it around the motor shaft , and the idler pulley.youll need to pull the front off the machine to gain acees to the drumm area, fom there you can drape the belt over the drum, "red side out"might be a difficult to try to hold up the drum and try to secure the belt without the use of another set of hands( the front panel that you removed holds the weight of the unit normally) afeter you get the draped belt around the ider pully "snaps into the lower cabinet so that you can pull hte tension to the right. after fully extending the pully to the right wrap the belt around motor pully and allow the idler to release and hold tension on the belt. it will only go on one way! only tricky the first time , youll get it!!!

My kenmore clothes dryer has stopped spinning and is just making

The pulley in question is likely a spring loaded idler pulley, used to keep tension on the belt. It likely hangs onto the dryer's frame, & is held in place by the belt. If you order a new belt from Sears, ask them for a belt path diagram, which should show the proper pulley position.

Samsung ML2010 laser printer paper feed roller belt

I just fought this same battle and have emerged victorious! The roller cam that the black rubber belt fits around is kind of "C" shaped in cross-section. The roller has left and right hinge-pins on one end of the "C" and snaps on the other. Looking at either side of the casing that the roller mounts in, you will see the end of the hinge-pin and a typical sqeeze clip like those often found on bigger laser printer rollers. I'm sure this was designed so that you should be able to sqeeze the left and right clips simultaneously which should release the snap end of the "C" and allow it to hinge out away from the casing. Unfortunately, it appears that the designer's good intentions were never tested. If your roller is like mine, it does not freely release by just sqeezing the clips. It was a bit awkward but while squeezing one of the clips, I used the tip of a small screw driver to pry loose the snap on that side. The trick is to hold that snap out away from it's seated position while you perform the same procedure on the other side. With both sides pryed away from their seated position you should be able to hinge the roller with black rubber belt away from it's case and remove it. In lieu of buying a replacement belt I simply rotated the existing one to expose the unused part and snapped it back in place. Voila!

My belt broke. I have a replacement. I dont know how to install the replacement belt.

There's a plastic cover over the agitator. (the part that should spin, with tough bristles)
Unscrew it. Pull out the agitator. Put the new belt over the 'spinner' (the part that's connected to the motor) and the special pafrt of the agitator. Snap the agitator back into place, making sure it's secure on both sides.
Screw back on the plastic cover.
