The 87-108 band is FM. The "second one" would be AM.

Press the AM FM button to toggle between them.

Can't help on the manual. If you had a model number you could possibly run it by these guys...

How do i program the radio

Click below for the manual.

manual

1 Select the radio band and tune in a desired radio

station you wish to store in the preset memory.

2 Press (PRESET).

The Preset screen is displayed.

3 Rotate the Double Action encoder to select the

preset number.

4 Press and hold /ENTER for at least 2 seconds.

The selected station is stored.

The display shows the band, preset number and station

frequency memorized.

A total of 18 stations can be stored in the preset memory (6 stations

for each band; FM1, FM2 and AM).

If you store a station in a preset memory which already has a station,

the current station will be cleared and replaced with the new station.

Press in the outer ring and rotate the Double Action encoder to the

left or right on the Preset screen, you can switch the Preset screen of

another band.

FM-1 FM-2 AM FM-1
You can also change the desired radio band by pressing BAND.

Hope this helps.

Not clear on how to search and store radio frequencies manually in my Kenwood kdc-bt6544u car audio player. can i jump to a specific time in audio or do i have to hold the FF or RW till i get there? not...

Some makers are different.Usually if you hold down the search button long enough,it will switch to autosearch. There should be numbered buttons on the face of the stereo too right?Tune in to the channel you want to preset, press and hold down the number you want it to be.The sound will probably cut out for a couple of seconds, then when it comes back on the channel is preset.Once you set 6 on FM,if you press the band button again,it should give you the capability of presetting 6 more.If it goes to AM just press band once more and it will give you 6 new FM.Usually current radios give 6 AM possible, and 3 separate bands of FM for a total of 18 FM possible.Good luck!
