this sounds like your magnetron is starting to wearout

Take the lid off and on the side were all the components are located you could see a large transformer mounted on the bottom look at where the wires get plugged in one may not be in and hanging lose or the fuse in a white like casing come from transformer to the capacitor is blown

The E4 error code is a result of a malfunctioning defrost sensor. If the error code is on the right then it is the defrost sensor in the upper chamber.

Attached is a link to Avanti service and parts. Provide them with the model number of your wine cellar and they will be able to provide you with a price and information on the part needed for repair.

If you have the owner's manual or are able to speak with a service technician through Avanti, then this can be a diy repair.

i just baught an AVANTI multi fondue set and it came with the instructions but i lost them and was wondering if you are able to read instructions online

I bought a faberware V-blade Mandoline slicer and I would like to have an instruction manual for the blade usage please

probably a safety thermostat cutting out. some are auto reset so that it will work again w/o changing part. could be magnetron tco

sounds like a panel issue for sure.
if the microwave is over 5 yrs old I would recommend replacing it
newer microwaves use far less power than before.
and they are not too expensive
