In the 1015 model - the one in the picture, the error 8 signifies that the controller of the player is no longer communicating with the cd mechanism: either the mechanism has failed and it will have to be replaced or the controller has a defect in itself.
The only way to fix that is to open the unit, test and diagnose it and replace the failed part. That is a job that only a well qualified personnel should do - contact Wurlitzer here

to obtain the data on the closest certified repair shop. Beware, the repair will be expensive, over $500.

Keyboard on jukebox not working

You need to get the service manual and go through the regular steps of troubleshooting. It could be a bad connector or broken solder joint on the keyboard- I would have to see the unit.

I purchased a used Wurlitzer 1015, question When selecting number 51 is a code number 82 and does not play can you explain me this, what the problem is thanks

The number of Cds in the carousel can be set on the Credit unit to stop it playing fresh air if for example you only have 50 Cds and not a whole 100. Sounds like yours is set to 50 so won't play anything over 50.
I 'think' this is what you do.
On the computer credit unit...
Service Switch ON...Press LT button.
Press 5 on the keyboard once.
Enter 0000
Service Switch off.
Press LT or turn machine off/on.

I have just installed the remote conrol kit in my 1015. Selection and volume controls working okay on remote. Not able to make selection from buttons on jukebox - does remote overide this function? ...

Sounds like you have put the cables in the wrong place. Put the keyboard cable back as it was and test to see if the keyboard works.
The mysterious "power" button does nothing unless you have a kit that it activates which turns the power off.

The numbers "1" and "0" are not operational on the

If you pull the keyboard apart, there are rubberized membrane keypads above the circuit board. Be sure the board hasn't oxidized. You will find the keypads are all linked together and every 2nd one is not used. Cut out a couple of the spares and put them over the keys that don't work and see if that helps. You may have the same problem with the rubberized keypad on the remote.

Hope this helps.

I have a rowe ami laserstar and cannot remember how to initialize when adding a new disk. Can you please help.

Hello,

Place the service switch into service, SERVICE MODE should be displayed on the keyboard display.
Type 31 and the display will show PROGRAM INIT enter the CD numbers that you have changed and press the popular button after each number.
After you have entered all the CD changes place the service switch back to normal and the initialization will begin.
